MemberHey Stephen. Definitely, we’re seeing the value here – the best I can offer up is that we’ll have 2.1 out sometime between now and the end of March. (How soon will depend on how quickly we can get all these bugs ironed out). If you want to check in with me as we get closer to that date I’ll certainly have more information as to a specific timetable, and could probably confirm whether it’ll be in the initial 2.1 push or a subsequent release in the 2.1 lifecycle from there.
Hope that helps, let me know if you’ve got other questions here.

MemberHey Stephen. Thanks for the note; it may be possible, but it’d definitely require some hackery. The Gravity Forms solution is more a third-party hack than an officially supported method of soliciting frontend submissions. But when our Community Events add-on is released (sometime between now and the end of March), it will allow for frontend users to submit recurring events (if the site is running PRO) right out of the box.
Sorry I couldn’t offer up more here. Let me know if you’ve got other questions along these lines.

MemberHi there Stijn, thanks for the note here. You are correct that the image isn’t carried over on the iCal end. If I recall correctly, last time we discussed this there was a technical limitation as to why. But that may have changed.
Let me see if one of our devs can take a look and share their thoughts here. I’ll have someone respond directly if they can. Cheers.

MemberThanks Cam. Did free (The Events Calendar) prompt an upgrade? And your key has been verified as “valid” (ie showing the green text with an expiration date)?
Rob
MemberExcellent to hear that did the trick, Max. Thanks for confirming.
David: still having issues?
Rob
MemberHey Andrzej. You would technically need to buy a license for each, though if you email me (rob at tri.be) we are working out MU pricing now that I’d be happy to share with you – and to give you more details about how we’re rolling it out.
Rob
MemberAh, gotcha. Thanks for confirming Ron. Let me see if our dev Jonah can point you in the right direction on this front, when he hits the forums next.
Rob
MemberHey Rene. Sent you an email about this, I believe. Let me know if you’ve still got questions after reviewing that.
Rob
MemberInteresting question, Ken. Not sure about this myself but let me see if Jonah has any ideas. I’ll get him to chime in directly if he does.
Rob
MemberHi Daniel —
Jonah’s out until this evening but will be addressing his threads then, and this is among them. Cheers.
Rob
MemberIf you dig anything up, I’m sure the community would very much appreciate reading it. Sorry I couldn’t offer up more here.
Rob
MemberAh, gotcha. Have you tried using the Add HTML Before… option on Settings -> The Events Calendar to see if it gets you where you need to be?
Rob
MemberThanks! I’ll have Jonah take a look when he does his next pass on the forum, either this evening or tomorrow morning.
Rob
MemberHey Max. I believe this is a dupe of another thread you posted, which I’ve since responded to. Let me know if not. Otherwise let’s keep the discussion going over there to avoid confusion 🙂
Rob
MemberI also think this is a duplicate of another thread that I’ve already responded to. Please let me know if not.
