MemberHi Allan. Thanks for the note, and sorry to hear you’re having issues. Sounds like you’ve got fine permalinks settings, so that doesn’t sound to be the issue. While we can’t guarantee that this plugin will play nicely with everything else out there, we want to help you out. I can get a dev to take a look here but will need to get a copy of the plugin to check out on our end first. Is it this one (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-ttisbdir/)?
Rob
MemberHey Yan. Thanks for the note here. Are you saying you want to translate the full site, or you just want the calendar translated? The latter may be difficult; the former can easily be done in your wp-config file. Let me know if I misinterpreted the issue here.
Rob
MemberWoo! Thanks for sharing this 🙂
Rob
MemberExcellent to hear, Ken! Appreciate the confirmation. If you need anything else as you continue using this plugin, please do let us know.

MemberHey Robert. We recently put together a tutorial along these lines for widgets, not the list (https://theeventscalendar.com/how-to-show-featured-thumbnails-in-the-next-events-widget/). But it should point you in the right direction…does it? Let me know if not and I can get Jonah to chime in directly.
Rob
MemberThanks for confirming, guys. Not sure what could be up here, then – I’ll need to get a dev to chime in directly. I’ve passed this along so you should be getting a response shortly. Apologies for the inconvenience in the interim.
Rob
MemberMy guess is that there is a problem with the translation files then, can you email me your po/mo files to rob at tri.be? Please include a link to this thread as a frame of reference and I will give it a go on my end.
Rob
MemberHi Maarten. Have you checked out our tutorial on how to fully customize widgets (https://theeventscalendar.com/how-to-completely-customize-widgets/), to see if that points you in the right direction? Let me know if not.
Rob
MemberAre you using “pretty” permalinks on your site? IE something like /%postname%/?
Rob
MemberThanks, Coach Abondance. That link should give us what we need for Jonah to respond accordingly 🙂
Rob
MemberHey guys. Going to get our dev to take another look at this and see whether there’s anything we can ask Headway for on our end.
Rob
MemberHey Coach Abondance. Any chance you can share the code you’re using with pastie.org or something similar? I can respond accordingly from there.

MemberHey again Aaron. Thanks for the follow-up. In 2.0, there is a tutorial that Tim Bowen put together on how to allow for frontend submissions with Gravity Forms. While that is not an officially supported workaround on our end (Ie we can’t provide much specific guidance on the forums for customizing it), the majority of users I’ve spoken to have said it works.
Based on what you’re saying in your second post, it sounds like customization was causing the issue here. I can’t see anything that would be problematic based on the change you’ve made…you may want to check whether disabling that custom template has any aesthetic impacts elsewhere on the site, but you should be fine. And it sounds like this will become a non-issue once Community Events is released and you have an official capacity in which to do this.
Let me know what else I can do on my end.
Rob
MemberHey Rene. Sure, let me see if Jonah has any suggestions as to your first question. I’ll get him to take a look when he hits the forums today.
Not sure I understand the question in your second point. Can you elaborate as to what has changed, so I can look into it for you?
Rob
MemberDan: just a heads up that I had Jonah take a look here, and he wasn’t quite sure how to approach this. So I’ve passed it on up the ladder to another dev and should have a response of some shape for you here shortly. Apologies for the delay thus far.
