MemberHey Lachlan! Thanks for the words; I certainly appreciate it and I know the dev team working behind the scenes does too. We appreciate your support.
I can definitely get a dev to take a look and try to point you in the right direction here – but first, have you checked whether Jonah’s walkthrough on how to fully customize widgets (https://theeventscalendar.com/how-to-completely-customize-widgets/) gets you what you need? Let me know either way.

MemberHey Jen. Is it possible that this could be the cause? http://uploads.yoast.nl/Permalinks-20120207-205354.png We have found that to solve a few Yoast-related issues before. Let me know if not.

MemberHey Corey. Thanks for the note, and for purchasing the plugin. Sorry to hear that you’re having issues. This definitely doesn’t sound like the correct behavior or the plugin so it sounds like something else is at play here.
First, do you have a link to the site that you can share so we can check it out directly? You may also want to check whether another plugin is conflicting (test by deactivating anything else you’ve got on to see if the issue persists), or your theme (test by reverting to the default 2011 theme).
Let me know and we can troubleshoot from there, to get you through this.

MemberHey Jamie. Glad to see you got that short-term solution from the forum; we are aware of a few issues related to iCal export that we’re addressing in 2.1 as well, so this issue should be resolved there. Sorry I couldn’t offer up more in the short-term.
Rob
MemberHa, I know how that is 🙂 Done – I’ve responded at the other thread.

MemberHey Carlos. Thanks for the note. I’m going to need to get our dev Jonah to take a look here, as I cannot see why that data would not be displaying when you added it.
As for the post created for the organizer: there actually is no frontend organizer view like there is a frontend venue view. While the organizer technically creates a page that can be accessed on the frontend, it isn’t linked to/promoted from within the plugin and doesn’t actually display data. Frontend organizer pages will be coming somewhere during the 2.1 lifecycle though.

MemberHey Ken. Good question; I’m not aware of one, but let me see if Jonah is.

MemberHi Jacob. We’re still looking into this one; as it relates to a conflict with a specific theme we need to dig a bit deeper to identify what is up. Rest assured that as soon as we know something you’ll be the first to hear it. Let me know if we can do anything else in the interim and my apologies for the inconvenience thus far.

MemberHey Exceed. Have you checked out whether template tags can help you accomplish what you’re going for? Sounds like they may; those are documented at https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation. Let me know if that doesn’t point you in the right direction.
Rob
MemberHey Karen; it appears so. Was that added as a featured image or as a image within the post? Assuming the former but want to check. Do you need me to get a dev to take a look? Happy to do so if you want, just let me know.
Rob
MemberHey Carlos. I believe I’ve already responded to this elsewhere, right? Let me know if not and I can keep looking into it for you.
Rob
MemberHey Carl. I think you may be using another widget (ie not one generated by our calendar), is that possible? I’ve never seen it look anything like what you’ve shown in your screenshot there, and our list widget is called the Events List Advanced Widget. It looks like this on the backend: http://cl.ly/0q1B0B0E0f290a30312t.
Rob
MemberHey again Heather. Are they adding events from the backend? Couldn’t they just hit the little image icon above the entry (http://cl.ly/2R2f0e3z3U3G0c1Q0T0c), and insert there – so they wouldn’t have to do it manually? Let me know if I”ve misunderstood the request here.
Rob
MemberHey Heather! I’d back up first just to be safe, but if you delete PRO it shouldn’t delete those events – all the data should be retained except the plugin code itself. Let me know if you have any other questions from there.
Rob
MemberHey Alex. Thanks for the note; at this point there is no way to filter by Date/City/Time etc, beyond what you can get via use of template tags as detailed at https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation. You can indeed create new “venue” pages, which you could use as cities if organized strategically enough…
An all-event map has been requested a few times now and is something we’re looking into for a future release; currently, unfortunately, it’s not an option.
Sorry I couldn’t offer up more. If you have other questions or if I can do anything else, please let me know!
