Editing Events Just Hangs

I am trying to make simple edits to events, such as text format to bold and adding a link. The update just hangs and never seems to update. I just upgraded to 2.0.4. I deactivated the old version 2.0.3. Should I delete it? Did not want to lose the event data.
Active Plugins:
Events Calendar PRO Version 2.0.4
The Events Calendar Version 2.1
Slider Evolution Version 1.2.0
Wiziapp Version 1.2.2b
Jetpack by WordPress.com Version 1.2.2
Thesis Theme 1.8.2

Hey Heather. My guess is the problem here is that you’re running the calendars out of sync; you shouldn’t have The Events Calendar 2.1 installed as that is just beta code anyway, and it means you’re running PRO 2.0.4 and free 2.1. You should activate both versions of 2.0.4 together…and let me know if the issue persists from there. We’ll do what we can to assist from there.

Ah, Thanks Rob. I will deactivate the beta code and re-install 2.0.4 then. BTW, If I delete Pro 2.0.3 will that delete any events? It is deactivated right now, and I’ve been running Pro 2.0.4 (with 2.1 beta apparently). Thanks for your help.

Hey Heather! I’d back up first just to be safe, but if you delete PRO it shouldn’t delete those events – all the data should be retained except the plugin code itself. Let me know if you have any other questions from there.
