Rob
MemberIt’s got to be caused by something independent of the core plugin itself, since we’re not seeing it at all on our default 2011 installs with the tagged 2.0.5 release 🙂 It may also be a plugin…if you can try deactivating those, assuming it’s not the theme, that will help us identify the specific conflict and try to diagnose accordingly.
A new thread would be awesome, though, as this one hasn’t really been active in almost 3 months and I don’t want to “cross the streams.”
Rob
MemberAwesome to hear this fixes it for you, Don! We should have 2.0.6 out over the next week or so, and I’m pushing to get this included therein. Fingers crossed that an official solution will be available sooner rather than later.
I see the code didn’t copy over, since my guess is you posted raw code in and the system cannot currently handle that. As such it gets stripped out…but if you were willing to share what you used in a pastebin or pastie.org link, it’d be awesome (and would give other users facing the same problem a solution).
April 30, 2012 at 6:28 pm in reply to: Events permalink slug does not change when using Spanish as WPLANG #18455Rob
MemberHey Jesse, thanks for the note here. Are you just saying that the content in these fields (http://d.pr/i/575Z) should change to ‘eventos’ upon changing to es_ES in your wp-config file? Just wanted to make sure I understand your point before I bring it to the devs.
Rob
MemberHey Kylie. That is very odd; I’m sorry to hear you’re having problems, this is the first we have heard of such an issue. Is it possible the plugins are running out of sync (ie The Events Calendar 2.0.4 and Events Calendar PRO 2.0.5)? Have you resaved permalinks after activating, then cleared your cache and tried viewing again?
Rob
MemberThanks Yorgos. Just a heads up that I’m looking into this in greater depth for you today and should have you something of substance by the end of the afternoon. Stay tuned.

MemberThanks, Jim. Just wanted to give you a heads up that I’m talking this over with the dev team and should be able to get you some guidance on it by the afternoon. Stay tuned and thanks for being patient thus far.
Rob
MemberHey there Ebrahim-Khalil. By default the List will always show the next upcoming event, so that events which have passed will be pushed onto a “Previous Events” page. Would that work? If not, have you checked out our template tag documentation at https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation to see if it the code provided there will get you where you want to be? Let me know if not and we can try to troubleshoot from there.
Rob
MemberHey Heinz. Thanks for the feedback here. As a bit of explanation: we didn’t actually have the Calendar widget until launching 2.0 a few months ago; based on user demand, we added a simple/bare bones calendar so they’d have something to work with when 2.0 came out. The plan has always been to launch with something super simple and build it up to include categories, month nav, etc down the road. As it now stands the bulk of those changes should be in the 2.1 release that we’re shifting focus to once 2.0.6 is out the door later this week.
Sorry we couldn’t offer up more in the short-term, though. If you need anything else or have other feedback we’d love to hear it…so please let me know. Thanks!
Rob
MemberExcellent to hear you got this taken care of, Kathleen. I’m going to close it out accordingly. Please let us know what else we can do down the road.
Rob
MemberHi Craig! Thanks for the note here. Forgive my ignorance, but I’m not actually seeing the issue on that page…can you elaborate a bit as to what I should be looking for, so I can get you a response accordingly? Thanks!
Rob
MemberNot sure about this one myself, Jesse, but let me see what Jonah has to say when he hits the forum today. Stay tuned.
Rob
MemberHey Danny. Are you just talking about the single day view, that allows you to view all events taking place a specific day?
Rob
MemberThanks for the note, Craig, and for your words. Glad to hear you’re enjoying the calendar thus far.
For this issue…have you tried switching to a different template solution under Settings –> The Events Calendar? The plugin comes with two of its own and your theme may add a few others. But that’d be my first suggestion…and if that doesn’t do the trick let me know so I can get you what you need. Cheers!
Rob
MemberThanks Lydia!
Jonah, here’s the code: http://pastebin.com/1kfcmCGD. Can you take a look?
Rob
MemberThanks for sharing this, Henry.
Dan: can you give it a go and see if you’re still having issues from there?
