Greg
MemberI recently upgraded to Pro & Google maps no longer appear in my List View…

MemberHey Greg. Thanks for the note here, and sorry to hear you’re having issues. We’ll do what we can to troubleshoot this one. What was appearing in your list view related to Google Maps previously? By default the address details will show in list view, but not the map itself. Here’s an example of what I mean: http://demo.tri.be/events/upcoming/.
Any chance you can show me what you were seeing earlier? What version were you on prior to updating to 2.0.5?
April 4, 2012 at 6:28 pm #17628Greg
MemberNot sure what version I was using prior but it did show the Google logo & linked to the map.
I upgraded to the current for the added functionality as specially the ability to store venues.
Right now no maps are showing (not all venues & addresses have been added) we have held off until we get this solved.
Thanks for the fast response.

MemberThanks, Greg – I understand what you’re saying now. I just checked and it looks like that feature was lost in the jump from 1.3.3; I’ve logged this as a bug with the team so we can get it added back in a future release. Not sure which one it’ll make it into but since my guess is this is a simple change to the core functionality of the plugin, such a release would be sooner rather than later.
Sorry I couldn’t offer up more in the short term…but thanks for the heads up. If we can do anything else please let me know.

MemberHi Rob,
I am also experiencing this problem after migrating from 1.3.x to 2.0. Is there a quick workaround to getting this fixed? My client will be nagging if he doesn’t see the map as beforeMany thanks and look forward to your reply.
Cheers,

MemberHi,
I found the workaround. Hopefully, this helps someone while Tribe hasn’t fixed it yet:
1. copy “wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/views/single.php” into “wp-content/themes//events”
2. edit your copy of single.php, change this section:to
That should fix it !

MemberAwesome to hear this fixes it for you, Don! We should have 2.0.6 out over the next week or so, and I’m pushing to get this included therein. Fingers crossed that an official solution will be available sooner rather than later.
I see the code didn’t copy over, since my guess is you posted raw code in and the system cannot currently handle that. As such it gets stripped out…but if you were willing to share what you used in a pastebin or pastie.org link, it’d be awesome (and would give other users facing the same problem a solution).

ParticipantHello. Was this resolved? The link to the Google Map is no longer displaying me in list and single-venue. Not highly important, but would like to know what might have happened.

My client site is here with representative event post:
http://few.modernmediajapan.com/event/few-monthly-meeting-3/
I’m having the same problem: the Google map isn’t showing up, although I do have it checked.
We’re launching over the weekend, so would love to have this fixed before then if at all possible. Thanks!

ParticipantHi folks:
ignore my note above: I deleted all the recurring events, re-entered them, and now the calendar is there. mission accomplished 🙂

ParticipantHi Terri,
Sorry to hear about that. Make sure you are running the latest version of our plugins (2.0.7) and try deactivating all other plugins to see if that helps. Also, have you made modifications to /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/views/single.php?
Thanks,
