MemberRoss: Andy’s solution should get you where you need for the slug.
On the backend…are you saying you want to rename this (http://d.pr/i/cDAy)?

MemberThanks for sharing this, Andy! We sure do appreciate it.
Maxwell: want to give that a go and let us know the results?

MemberHey there Billy! Thanks for the note. If I understand your issue correctly, it sounds like the discussion starting in this thread (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/multiday-event-cutoff/#post-13676) would be able to get you pointed in the right direction.
Can you confirm as much, and if so whether that solution does the trick? If not I can bring a dev in on our end. Thanks!
Rob
MemberHey Denis. Thanks for the note here, and for reaching out with this issue. We do have some tweaks in the work that I believe are related to this. But is there any chance you can share a link to your site so I can see this in action and confirm it’s the same issue? Thanks in advance!
Rob
MemberHey Derek! Thanks for the note here. As to your issue…nope, there are no separate tables involved for Events.
Let us know if we can do anything else here or if you have other questions.

MemberGlad to be of service, Javier. Thank YOU for your ongoing support and awesome ideas.

MemberSorry we couldn’t offer up more here, Kelly. If you need us to refer you a freelancer we’d be happy to do so…and it’s possible someone else on the forum may have a suggestion as well.
Thanks for your patience and best of luck figuring this out. I’ll leave the thread open for now in case any other users want to jump in with their experience.
Rob
MemberThanks for the words, Craig! Awesome to hear that was helpful.
On the mobile front: It’s a good question; we’ve been getting a good number of questions about this and it seems there is definitely need for a responsive template that works smoothly with this plugin. We’re working on integrating some type of our own responsive templating but that’s still mostly conceptual and a few months out.
In the interim, while there are no themes specifically built for it that we’re aware of, in general we’d recommend Brandon at Epic Era’s work: http://themeforest.net/user/epicera/portfolio. The responsive code is solid and you can get list/single view working pretty well out of the box.
That help? Let me know if not and I can adjust my response accordingly.

MemberThanks for the note here, Karen. This makes sense and I’m seeing the issue on my end as well. I’m not quite sure about this myself but let me see what Jonah has to say when he hits the forums later this morning.
Rob
MemberThanks Javier. We’ll be looking into it shortly and can hopefully get you a substantive response from there…

MemberThanks for the note here, Jim – the idea to have venue information duplicate into organizers with a checkbox (consistent with most online orders I too have placed) is a great one. Thanks for the suggestion there.
Advanced recurrence patterns are definitely on the docket. We probably won’t have those ready for primetime until 2.1 is launched later this summer, but we have gotten a lot of feedback from the community on this and it sounds like this is one of the most-needed features out there at the moment.
A “clone” button is an interesting one; so, just the option to duplicate given events and use that duplicate as the basis for a new event?
Linking all events to a single entry has been discussed…but given how we’ve architected the plugin so far it may not be possible to modify recurrence to that degree. A few users have brought it up, though, so it something we’re discussing as a team.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, and your ideas for helping make a better product. We would not be able to keep this plugin going without ideas from users like yourself…and we appreciate every idea that comes across. Thanks again.

MemberHey CK. Have you checked out our template tag documentation at https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation ? Sounds like if I understand the issue correctly you could use those to display the event data you deemed appropriate. Let me know if that points you in the right direction.
Rob
MemberHey Beej, thanks for the follow-up on this end – and for the link. Looks like there are two issues here: aiming to add the venue name into grid view, and make the featured image serve as the entire mouseover (removing text in the process).
I’m going to need to bring in Jonah, our dev, to take a look here. My guess is that both are doable but I’m not sure the level of customization required for either. While we can’t provide specific customization work here on the forums we can try our best to point you in the right direction here. Stay tuned!
Rob
MemberAwesome to hear you found a solution here, Debra. If Marty sees this hopefully he can share what his was as well (so you’ve got multiple options available).
Rob
MemberHey Beej. Thanks for the note here; we can definitely try to help you out, but would you mind pointing us to an example so we can see what you’re going for? I’m not sure I understand based on the description above. Thanks!
