Rename event calendar

Hi,

How do i change each occurrence of the word ‘event(s)’ to ‘course(s)’? I’m using event calendar pro to manage a list of courses. So the heading tag Upcoming Events should be Upcoming Courses.

Also is it possible to rename this on the back-end menu also?

@Ross, in The Events Calendar Settings portion in the Admin part of your site you can change the `Events URL Slug` and `Single Event URL Slug` to whatever you want, `courses` and `course` in your case. I’d have to look into where to make the changes in the widget.

Not sure what you mean by back-end menu.

On the backend…are you saying you want to rename this (http://d.pr/i/cDAy)?

Hi, thanks for getting back to me. I already had `Events URL Slug` and `Single Event URL Slug` changed to courses, but this does not change the heading one ‘Upcoming Events’ to ‘Upcoming Courses’. Also the paging is still events?

I had a previous custom post type called courses, so i change the slug to test it, but these values don’t change. Re back-end, yes i mean the admin menu.

Hey Ross. Thanks for confirming as much. I’m not sure how to change the “Upcoming Courses” and pagination issues, though I think it’s possible. (As for renaming the backend admin menu – that may be a bit more challenging and I’m not sure it’s possible at all without modifying the core plugin files, which we strongly discourage).

That being said let me see if our dev Jonah, better versed in these issues than myself, might be able to offer up some guidance on the above. I’ll have him take a look when he hits the forums today.
