MemberHi Darius,
Thanks for reaching out and welcome to our support forums!
Not 100% sure what you mean, but I guess you updated the plugin and you are not finding the views folder there?
The ‘views’ folder which holds template files is now located at ‘the-events-calendar/src/views/’. Please bear in mind you shouldn’t edit those there, but create template overrides in your own theme folder. That process is described in our Themer’s guide, please check that out.
Please let me know if this was what you were looking for,

MemberHi Phil,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I have to say I’m not quite sure what you are trying to achieve…
How can I change the link Add to cart button to go to the Product Page instead of the CART?
Do you have just one ticket per event? If not witch product should the user be redirected to? Do you want the actual ticket to be added to the cart and then redirect the user to the product page or just take the user to the product page?
Please let me know about those,
Thanks,
NicoNico
MemberHi Paul,
Thanks for reaching out to us, and for considering our products for your site.
Do you have any sites that have your plugin installed with over 1000 upcoming events?
Outdoor Sports Guide site is packed with lots of events (not sure if +1000 upcoming) and loads up pretty well. Unfortunately it doesn’t use the Map View. Also I’ve been helping out a client on a performance improvement, his site has +3,500 events and it ended up working pretty fine.
Does your plugin load on pages that aren’t displaying events?
No, it shouldn’t affect other views that are not event related.
Would it be possible to display a map of events within a (home)page like this?
Yeap, the example you are showing has a customized skin for Google Maps, but apart from that I think that’s possible with Event Calendar PRO Map View.
Please let me know if your questions are answer or if you have further doubts,
Thanks,
NicoNico
MemberHey Jason,
Thanks for reaching out to us and for recommending our products 🙂
Let’s jump into your questions:
1) Yes, Venues can be renamed.
2) You’ll need a bit of customization over Community Events, but I think it’s possible.
3) Events Calendar PRO comes with a Map View you can take advantage of here. Search will need customization but, you can search Events by location so if you can hook in Venues to the search most of the work should be done for you.Maybe it’s better to customize Organizers (another built-in post type) instead of Venues, as the later represent “places” and maybe you’ll need those for the business events.
So – can it be done? Turn The Events Calendar into a Directory Listing + Events feature for this business?
Yeap, I think it’s quite possible. Of course it will need an extensive customization layer on top of our plugins. You can take a look at our showcase, maybe something there sparks an idea for your client’s site.
Please let me know if you have further doubts and I’ll be glad to help you with those,
Hope our products fit for this,

NicoNico
MemberRyan,
Just wanted to give you a quick update: I’m a bit delayed to jump into this. Hope to do so tomorrow or at least on Monday.
Cheers,

MemberHey Guys,
Thanks for sharing your suggestions and helping each other out, you rock!
Plus, just removing it from the display wouldn’t thin out the query, which is what I was suggesting to Niko – an option to only get the title and link, so less time would be spent in the query. Perhaps he can add that option in later, combined with the code you suggested, so that we could choose to remove the display data, and thin the query at the same time.
That’s right, the would be the ultimate tweak! Sorry to say I’m not sure about how to alter that query.
Thanks again both, I’m going to close this topic – but please don’t hesitate to create new topics if you need help with anything else.
Have a great one,

MemberHey Pete,

MemberHey guys,
Good news over here! Version 3.10.1 of The Events Calendar is just released – details here. The performance fix for month view is included, so please try updating our plugin and let me know how this goes. I know further improvement on this will be included in upcoming releases but I think performance should be acceptable now.
@Kenny, really sorry you had to do the extra work of downgrading and now upgrading again 🙁 I hope everything runs smoothly with 3.10.1. If that’s not the case please open up a new thread so we don’t bother Adam here.
Thanks a lot for your patience on this,
Best,
NicoNico

MemberHey Daniel,
Thanks for reaching out and welcome to our support forums!
I could reproduce what you are pointing out here, but I’ll need to take a deeper look to better understand it. At first sight it looks like a bug but I’m not sure about it.
As far as I understand revisions don’t store meta data (for any post type), so if you are expecting that I think it’s not possible without some custom coding at least.
I’ll dig into this tomorrow and get back to you,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberHey marshpaddler,
Thanks for reaching out on this. I’m afraid there’s neither a release date set for the feature nor for the beta 🙁
You can subscribe to our newsletter at the bottom of this page, we’ll surely be announcing this feature -and the beta- there.

MemberHowdy Pete,
Thanks for reaching out to us! Hopefully there’s a simple way of achieving what you are looking for.
You can target ‘day view’ for a specific date like this: http://your-awesome-site.com/events/2015-07-02/
Please let me know if this tip helped you out,

MemberHey Mark,
Sorry to hear the issue is still there. I was looking at the other thread Josh is helping you out with, and I noticed from your sys info you are not runnning the latest version of The Events Calendar: Facebook Events. Latest version is 3.10 and you seem to be running version 3.9.4. Not sure if that’s causing the issue we are dealing with here but it might be.
If updating Facebook Events doesn’t solve this, I will need you to go through the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide, so we can discard this being a conflict with other plugin or some code in your theme. You may need to create a staging/test site to do so if you only have the online site to test for this.
I’ll try to be on top of this as I now know it’s urgent for you.
Please keep me updated,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberHola ukumito,
Espero tus novedades,
Saludos,
