Glad to hear you could sort that out!
I managed to make the changes to the translationfiles.
Can you submit those changes to our translation site? This way we prevent this from re-appearing in a future update.
Regarding the week slug, that’s a bug that came up with the 4.4 WordPress update, a fix for that will be included in the maintenance release 4.0.2 coming out really soon (if everything goes right it will be later today / tomorrow).
We can leave this ticket open until you can confirm the update fixes your issue,

Sorry to hear about this, the fix for this has been coded and tested. It will be release in maintenance release 4.0.2 hopefully today / tomorrow.
Is there a way to go back to the previous version? Do you have any idea when this will be fixed?
Yes, checkout this article on Downgrading a plugin to a past version. I guess you can downgrade you live site to a previous working version, and test the fix in a staging/local environment to see if it works as expected and in that case update your live site.

Thanks for following up on this, sorry to hear about this.
Regarding the testing for conflicts steps, that is usually intended to be tested on a staging / local instance, because as you say it will alter how the site looks. Thanks anyway for trying that out!
I’m aware of what you share with me about the archive pages, but this doesn’t seem related to that. We had some except/description issues after releasing 4.0 and they were patched in 4.0.1, but apparently this fix was not 100% complete. I’ve reached out to Elegant Themes for a copy of Foxy theme to run some local test on this and see if I can understand why this is failing. I’ll be looking into that later today and see if there’s some quickfix I can share with you.

Can I do something by hand in the MySql database?
Yes, you can delete the saved ‘notes’ using the following SQL Query (make sure to backup the db before proceeding):
DELETE FROM wp_posts WHERE post_type = 'deleted_event';
The code above assumes your table prefix is ‘wp_’ if you changed that when installing WordPress, you’ll need to adjust the table name accordingly.Please let me know if that helps,

Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue as well. Can you please open up a new thread for this? If you are not running the permalink plugin, I would say you issue is most probably unrelated to what Evelyn reported. Also having just a user/issue per thread usually makes them move faster.
When creating the new thread please be sure to Test for conflicts and include your system information, that will surely help getting a better reply. You can also include a link back to this thread if you want.

Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.
Also, are you always seeing the excerpt in there or when it shows the “long text” is getting it from the event description instead of the excerpt?

Thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately there is no built-in process to re-schedule a ticket.
Maybe it’s not necessary to refund him. You can just cancel the original order (and re-stock the ticket), and then create a new one manually for that ticket or just send the user a coupon to re-schedule. Does this make sense?

Great that you jumped in that thread. I think it’s not necessary to create a new thread in this case. There are also a couple more on this issue as well.
You are right sorry I confused your name, just scrolled up and saw Marc in there, many times developers post on behalf of their customer so names in the username and the messages are not the same. Anyway there was a connection in there 🙂

We have some serious issues since updating to 4.0 but that’s something for a different thread I think.
Yeap, it will be better if you open up a new thread for those issues. Having just a user/issue per thread usually makes them move faster. When creating the new thread please be sure to Test for conflicts and include your system information, that will surely help getting a better reply.
