Participantwhen I click previous entries on my calendar it goes back to 2014 instead of last week. What is happening?

Please go over this article Show past events in chronological order, there you’ll find a snippet to reverse the order.

ParticipantI put the snippet of code in without the “<?php” and I did not get the parse error, but it did not fix the problem. When you click previous events it should show the events from yesterday and back from there. Instead it is showing events from 2 years ago and you can’t event get to the events from yesterday. How did this happen and how to fix?

Thanks for confirming this and sorry to hear about it’s still an issue 🙁
I can now see on your website how the actual issue and also see that the snippet won’t solve this. I’ve been discussing this with one of the devs from the team, and we came to the conclusion that it’s in fact a bug. A ‘hotfix’ for this is being developed right now!
If the fix can fit in a snippet I will send it over as soon as it’s ready. Hopefully that’ll be very soon. The intention is to include this in the upcoming release (4.0.2) coming out later this week (initially).
I’m sorry for the inconvenience this might cause until fixed, I’ll keep you posted…

ParticipantHi, this is a serious problem for us. We would not have updated if we had known this was going to be such a sloppy release. Is there a way to go back to the previous version? Do you have any idea when this will be fixed?

Sorry to hear about this, the fix for this has been coded and tested. It will be release in maintenance release 4.0.2 hopefully today / tomorrow.

Yes, checkout this article on Downgrading a plugin to a past version. I guess you can downgrade you live site to a previous working version, and test the fix in a staging/local environment to see if it works as expected and in that case update your live site.
