MemberHi Julie,
Thanks for reaching out to us, and for your interest in our plugins 🙂
You don’t need The Events Calendar to sell tickets! You’ll need to install Event Tickets + Event Tickets Plus + an e-commerce plugin (WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, WP-Ecommerce or Shopp). Once the plugins are installed you’ll need to set the post-types (posts, pages, etc) in which the tickets functionality will be available (WP-Admin > Events > Settings > Tickets) and that’s it!
Please let me know if you have any other questions I can help you with,

NicoNico

Please reach out to support at theeventscalendar dot com, with all your doubts. Be sure to check the different product pages for complete details (and videos) of how our plugins work.
I’ll go ahead and close out this thread, since the conversation will move to the inbox.

MemberThanks for following up Gene! Indeed there is:
/* hide theme page title in calendar views, single event views and community submit, edit and list pages */
.post-type-archive-tribe_events #pagetitle,
.single-tribe_events #pagetitle,
.tribe_community_list,
.tribe_community_edit {
display: none;
}
Please let me know if we are in a good spot now,

MemberHi Aaron,
Thanks for getting in touch with us!
Is it possible to display the event’s time, date and possibly “register now” link in the search results?
Sure this is possible but will require a bit of custom coding, I’ll out line the steps below:
- Find the template that renders search results in your theme (most probably search.php) and locate the part in which the post details are printed. For example: in default theme TwentySixteen the file that renders each post in the search results loop is tweenty-sixteen/template-parts/content-search.php.
- Once you located the file, it’s time to edit it. If you are working with a third-party theme then it’s a good idea to create a Child-Theme for this customization.
- The edit consists in checking if the displayed post is an event, in which case print the event details. Check the code below, it’s based on the default TweentySixteen theme.
> ', esc_url( get_permalink() ) ), ' ' ); ?>
...
Please let me know if you can make it work with your theme,

MemberHi there Joe,
Thanks for reaching out to us on this! I’ll help here…
Indeed this looks like a conflict! Testing to see if this is caused by the theme is actually pretty straightforward. Just follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide, which basically are to switch to a WordPress default theme like TwentySixteen and re-check the issue. If the issue still shows up, de-activate all non tribe plugins and re-active them one-by-one (or in small batches), re-checking each time.
Please let me know about it,

MemberHi there Nadmin,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear about this issue! Let’s look into it…
If you deactivate the child theme but leave the parent theme active, Do you get the same result? If you are not getting the same we can narrow this to an issue with the child theme.
Also, was this working until the 4.2 update? If you deactivate WooCommerce Tickets does this behaviour change? On that note is there any reason why you are not switching to Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-to-event-tickets-plus/
Please let me know about this,

MemberHi Jake,
Thanks for getting in touch! Unfortunately there’s no way of overriding the templates stored in the admin-views folder 🙁
If you can tell me a bit about what you are looking for to achieve maybe I can help you getting there in a different way?
Please let me know about it,
Best,
NicoNico
How to Override Plugin Language Files). Si solamente son algunos términos que queres cambiar te recomiendo pruebes con el plugin Say What? o con la técnica descripta en este articulo: Change the wording of any bit of text or string.
Espero tus comentarios al respecto,
Saludos,
NicoPD: si preferís que sigamos la conversión en Ingles no hay problema!

MemberHowdy Said,
Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us!
Let me start by saying that PRO events views need to be activated in the back-end (WP-Admin > Events > Settings > Display > Enable event views), once they are enabled they should show up in the front-end.
If they are active but for some reason not showing up in the front-end, Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.
Please let me know about it,

MemberGlad to hear we finally discovered the cause of the issue 🙂
Can you please try disabling your custom JS and see if the attendee meta fields actually show in the page?
If that’s the case then you can create a template override to modify the value → https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/number-of-tickets-for-rsvp/#post-1122918
Please let me know if you can make it work,

Saludos,
NicoNico
