MemberThanks for following up Amir!
I was able to reproduce the issue in my local install. But when I download the Hebrew files form the WordPress language repo (https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/the-events-calendar/stable/he/default) and place them in the ‘language override’ folder (wp-content/languages/plugins/the-events-calendar-he_IL.po/mo) there are no such issues. So I’m thinking maybe the changes you made for some reason are generating these issues.
Which program are you using to edit the translation files?
Can you try to download the Hebrew default translation set, place it in the override folder (wp-content/languages/plugins/the-events-calendar-he_IL.po/mo) and generate the corresponding .mo file? Once you do this, do you still see the error in the top bar?
Also, I wasn’t able to find any information about this issue online (error string appended to translation string) if you stumble upon a description of the error please share it with me.
Digging in the translation file you sent for The Events Calendar (the-events-calendar-he_IL.po) I see the following in line 3130:
#: src/Tribe/Main.php:4167
msgid "%s In"
msgstr "%s (ืฉืืื)"
So it seems like the error string is part of the translation you edited. Can you doubke check on this? Thanks,
NicoNico

MemberGlad to hear Gergana ๐
I am trying now to understand the logic how to include also the end date of the event inside the ticket itself
You mean the tickets email? If not please clarify and I’ll be glad to help you on this as well!

MemberHi there Philipp,
Thanks for getting in touch with us!
when I hit โNext Eventsโ on our site (http://stadtkirche-emmendingen.de/veranstaltungen/?action=tribe_photo&tribe_paged=1&tribe_event_display=photo) it will only show one event series.
I’m seeing lot of events not just one when using the next events link in the page you shared, so maybe you could sort this out? I guess this could be caused by the option to ‘ Hide From Event Listings’, which you can define in the new/edit event page ?
The plugin updater tells me thereโs an updated translation. Why doesnโt Event Calendar take the german version matching my site language?
The calendar should show in whatever language your WP site is set to. If this is not working this way then please try setting the site language to English (Save Changes) and then set it back to German (Save Changes).
Please let me about it,
Best,

MemberHi there Douglas,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear about this glitch ๐
I’ve just reviewed our product backlog and couldn’t find any bugs associated with recurring events + iCal importer. So let’s troubleshoot this a bit and try to see if it’s indeed a valid bug.
Can you please send me the feed URL so I can try to reproduce this in my local test site?
Thanks,

MemberHi there Karen,
Thanks for getting in touch with us! Stocked to hear Community Events is rocking your website ๐
Let’s jump into your questions:
External links NOT opening in new tabs is killing my website bounce rates.
Most probably a snippet here can help to change the link target. Are you referring to the ‘Website URL’ field in the submission form?
Is is possible to add social share buttons to each event page, so visitors can share them?
Sure, take a look at this article โ Adding social media sharing to events
Some of my community event submissions have descriptions over 200 words. I thought there was a limit? Or was this just for CSV uploads?
There’s no ‘200 words limit’ in the community form description field, and don’t think this is true for CSV imports. Is there are a place where you saw this?
You are welcome to add my site to your showcase.
Sweet, please use submit the site using this form โ https://theeventscalendar.com/showcase-submission/
Please let me know about if my answers help out,
Best,
NicoNico

September 2, 2016 at 2:53 pm in reply to: Fatal Error when transitioning from WPEC Tickets to Events Tickets Plus #1159536Nico
MemberWell, I could run some tests on my local test site using latest versions of our plugins and latest version of WP-Ecommerce, but I couldn’t reproduce the error ๐
Can you please send me a link to the event in your site where you are seeing this? Also, anything particular with the events in which you are seeing this or is it happening for all events? Are you seeing this with newly created events as well?
Also, Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.
Please let me know about it,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberThanks for sending the info over I don’t see nothing that suggest me where this issue might be coming from. I see Say What? plugin installed but I guess that shouldn’t bother.
Anyway, Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? Also, if under default setup the date picker still shows in English please try to switch the site language o English and then back to German.
Thanks!
Have a great weekend,
NicoNico
