iCal import not entirely working, recurring events

I just purchased the iCal importer plugin to import a public Google calendar feed. I ran an import and set it up as a daily recurring import. I selected a start date of Jan. 2016 since there are no scheduled events in September at the moment, and the plugin asked for an earlier date. The events imported, sort of. Some seem to be correct, however multiple events have ended up on the same day. I have 10 events on June 12, and then nothing for July and part of August. I looked at the event in the Google calendar, and it does seem to be a recurring event with an end date of August 14. Events in the events calendar in WordPress resume and are correct after that Google calendar recurring event that ends on August 14. Is there a problem with recurring events?

I’ve just reviewed our product backlog and couldn’t find any bugs associated with recurring events + iCal importer. So let’s troubleshoot this a bit and try to see if it’s indeed a valid bug.

Can you please send me the feed URL so I can try to reproduce this in my local test site?
