Mike SeyferParticipantThanks Geoff,
I tried the SMTP way, but that didn’t work, so I found this snippet, and that worked well.
https://gist.github.com/cliffordp/35d3c0a08e53b061920976f80f0f44b4The other snippet you sent for the event organizer notifications works great too, thanks!
The one issue I’m still having though, is with both the notifications, both for the organizers as well as people that sign up – is that all the emails are going to the Spam folders. How can I fix this?
Please let me know how this Spam issue can be addressed.
Thanks much,

After some more digging, I found a thread and fixed this problem. It is working correctly now.
This is the thread to the issue I was having:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/additional-fieldset-is-not-shown-in-customer-email/Within that thread, it mentions some about fixing this issue in the next maintenance release.. will this be happening anytime soon at all? Nbd if not, just want to look out for it when it happens.
Thanks and have a great day.
MarkMike SeyferParticipantHey AndrĂ¥s,
Thanks for that, I followed along, and eventually got it to work!
That was perfect.
Thank You!
Mike SeyferParticipantSounds good Cliff, thank you for the help.
Mike SeyferParticipantI think I figured it out. After I make the event recurring and the new ones show up in the list, I click on ‘edit single’ which then prompts me with the event being on it’s own, and then I add a new ticket and the registration works. Is there another way perhaps that wouldn’t hinder so much time, or is the most efficient way to separate each event and add a new ticket for each and every event?
Thanks,
MarkMike SeyferParticipantYes that is what I need, guess I was thinking this was a feature already.
This is a very important feature for my client’s website. Every class my client has needs registration and is recurring 5-20 more times. This is an absolute necessary feature for this site.
But because it is not, how can I set up the registration separately for all my events? How do I get around this, as it is necessary that this works correctly for client. Is there an add on that can duplicate classes for me? Or can I somehow make each class it’s own parent after I make all the recurring ones?
Thanks,

Thank you for providing the helpful information – between that and working some things out myself, I’ve got this all figured out now.
Thank you and have a great day!
MarkMike SeyferParticipantMorning Josh & Happy Friday,
Thank you, that is exactly what i was looking for. I’m trying to find some online coding courses to take so I can figure things out like that myself. It makes sense when I see it now, just didn’t know exactly how it worked.
Regardless, that’s just what I needed so thank you for the help and have a great day!
Mark
Mike SeyferParticipantThanks for helping with what you can. Appreciate it.
Have a great day.
MarkMike SeyferParticipantMorning Josh,
No worries on the confusion, all is good. Thank you for the snippet! It works perfectly. Is there a way to specify which admin though? (The site has multiple admins) Either that, or am I able to specify the email address within the snippet at all?
Thanks and have a great day!
MarkAugust 31, 2016 at 12:45 pm in reply to: Events Calendar Event Organizer Email Extension Help #1158442Mike SeyferParticipantHere’s the thread I came across this extension on:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/events-calendar-event-organizer-email-extension-help/Here’s the extension link:
https://github.com/thebeard/events-calendar-pro-organizer-mailI have found another way to get the email working by adding a code snippet to my functions.php file that duplicates the email sent to the attendee and this sends that email to the site admin. I don’t know how to specify the admin or email though, so this setup is not ideal. I’ll keep working on it, but if you know of a way to make the email work with this extension I will go with that. I’m not sure if the WP SMTP can do what I need it to, maybe I don’t know enough about it. I’m just trying to send an email with an attendees information that they filled out to a certain email (which would be the class instructor). I’m trying to find the best way to achieve this.
Thanks and have a great day.
Mike SeyferParticipantHey Cliff,
Thank you for the detailed response and it worked just like it should, yay!
I do have a couple questions though..What if there are multiple admins on the website? Is there a way to specify which one to go to? I didn’t see any options for that yet.
Also, I was looking in the email.php file to find where the email subject line is, I’d like to change the default ‘Your Tickets for…’ to ‘Class Registration for…’ Where can I find and change that subject line?
Thanks for the help!
MarkMike SeyferParticipantHey Josh,
Thanks for the response. Your #1 suggestion there sounds like a good plan. I have installed and activated that plugin (Better Notifications for WordPress), but am wondering how to “add a rule to get notified every time a tribe_rsvp_attendees post is published.” I’m not sure where to specify that part. I can set it for when a new post is publish, but don’t know where to put the “tribe_rsvp_attendees” part.
Let me know when you can.
Thanks and have a great day!
