Thank you so much for your post. It’s great to hear that you are thinking about upgrading!
If you upgrade in the first 6 months of your license’s valid year, when you upgrade the license will be valid for another full year after the date of upgrade. So when I upgrade a Business license with the expiration date of April 2015, it becomes a Developer license with the expiration date of July 2015.
If you upgrade in the last 6 months of your license’s valid year (as it appears you would be), the license will be valid for another full year after the original expiration date. So if you upgrade a Business license with the expiration date of November 2014, it becomes a Developer license with the expiration date of November 2015.

Thanks for your post. Some of our translations are a bit outdated which could account for the missing string (and others). If you tell me which language files you are using I can confirm that. Updating the translation is probably the best thing you can do here š
Our plugin does not currently work properly with WPML, so there could also be issues associated with that. We are working on making it compatible in a future release.

Thanks for getting in touch. I’m glad you’re enjoying the plugin.
The reason you are seeing so many words in English is because the translation is outdated. All of our plugins are translated by volunteers, and no one has worked on this one in a while. Would you be interested in updating the translation? That would fix your site and we’d give you a free license in exchange.
If you are interested, check out theĀ Getting StartedĀ post where you’ll find the instructions and files you need. If you are not able to translate it, you’ll unfortunately need to wait for someone else to update the files.
You’ll want to make sure that before you start translating (whether for us or only for your own use) that you update the .po files with the latest .pot file as described in the Getting Started post. That step is essential and will even fix some of the problems you’ve mentioned.
We recommend that you do not change the translation file as a way to change phrases on the front end. Since translation files are updated, your changes could easily be overwritten. Your translation could also get out of date as we change the plugin and then be missing strings. It is best if you make changes to the text using aĀ a string-specific translation plugin likeĀ Say What?Ā or by using a get_text filter.

Thanks for getting in touch. None of the PRO widgets have the Featured Image show by default, but you can customize the Advanced List Widget to show the thumbnails. That would allow you to show a list of upcoming classes with the pictures. We even have a tutorial to walk you through the customization of the widget. Hopefully that will make it worth the renewal for you! And remember, you do get 30% off automatically for a renewal as well.

Thanks for your purchase and your post š I suspect that your browser or computer is set up to automatically unzip safe files upon download, and that’s why you’re not seeing a .zip file. Do you see a folder called events-calendar-pro in your Downloads folder? If so, you’ll want to right click the folder and look for an option that says Compress or Zip. That option will remake the folder into a .zip file that you can upload to your site.
If the above doesn’t work, please let me know what you are seeing and what kind of computer you’re using- that should help me troubleshoot further. Thank you for your patience while we get you set up!

I’m so sorry I missed this thread, I’m not sure how that happened. We normally get people a response within 24-48 hours, and I am very sorry this went so much longer than that!
Does Facebook Events can import all of the informations and images?
The import includes the event title, description, header image, time, date, location, and organizer. The organizer will be whoever made the event on Facebook (whether and individual or organization). The header image in FB will become the Featured Image in the calendar.
If i configure the settings āauto import events and default status is publishedā, imported events havenāt select any Category?
That is correct. Because Facebook Events have no category, we are not able to include that information. You would need to add that information after the event was imported. The same is for tags.
Is there any import limit on Facebook Events?
There are a few limitations based on limitations in the Facebook API. You cannot automatically import events from individuals. Eents from individuals can only be imported one at a time, manually, using the Facebook event’s ID. Events from pages and organizations can be imported automatically.
Events that are not marked Public in Facebook cannot be imported. Also, Facebook will not allow export of events that are deemed adult in nature, such as those involved with breweries, bars, or adult entertainment.

As you can see, the featured image came in from the FB header image.

Thanks for your interest in our plugins. It sounds like WooCommerce Tickets will work well for you.
1) make f.e. 10 seats available and reduce instantly when someone checks out f.e. via paypal. zero seats means āsold outā
You could make the event have 10 tickets available, and people could purchase them. When you run out, it will say Sold Out.
2) display the date of the event on the invoice (sounds doable, but most of the event-plug-ins dont seem to get that right, they mostly manage what WC does: display the date of purchase)
When a customer purchases a ticket they are sent an invoice and a printable ticket. The ticket has the event name, date, time, venue, etc. Would that work for you?
3) export an attendees list (but i could cover that by another plug-in)
You can export the list of people who have purchased tickets. So if people purchase their own tickets, it is an attendee list. However, it only includes the purchase information (name, email, billing info, etc).
4) easy to translate into other languages (f.e. german)
The Events Calendar and WooCommerce Tickets are both translated into German. Our translations are maintained by community members via our translations forum. If you find that a translation is outdated, we always welcome your assistance in fixing that.
