MemberHi Gediminias,
Thanks for submitting these translations. It looks like a few strings are missing from the translation of The Events Calendar- can you complete that file and submit it again? Also, do you know where I can download a Lithuanian translation for WordPress? I need it to fully test your translation, but I haven’t been able to find one.
Finally, please let me know your name so that I can credit you in our readme.txt files once the translation is complete.
Thank you,
Leah

MemberHi jordan0286,
The latest translation is for version 3.4, so it is getting old. However, no one has volunteered to update it. Would you be interested? Otherwise you’ll need to wait until someone volunteers. If you would like to help, please open a new thread in the translation forum. This one is very old and should be closed.

MemberHi Willem,
Thanks for your reply. I didn’t completely understand the issue but I do now. The same problem was reported by another user in this thread. The issue is that in the mobile version, those strings are hard-coded. So even though they are translated in the .po file, they don’t work in the minimized version. I have ticketed this issue to be fixed in an upcoming release. Thank you for your patience while we get it fixed!

MemberHi Martina,
Thanks for your post. Our translations are all done by volunteers, and you are welcome to change or build on them as needed. We have a new version of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO that will be added to the plugin’s next release. You can download those files in this thread. Once 3.9 is released, you’re more than welcome to edit the files and submit them to be added 🙂 Otherwise you can edit your site’s .po files to suit your translations.

Leah

MemberHi Oliver,
My apologies- I should have been clearly in my earlier post. Dot releases like 3.8.1 are usually only to correct bugs that are effecting a wide number of customers. This issue should be fixed in our regular release cycle with 3.9. In the meantime, I’m hoping that you can use a workaround translation like a get_text snippet or the Say What? plugin. Thank you for your patience!

Leah

MemberHi Willem,
Thanks for your post. Event though the translation was in the .po file, the .po file was a little outdated which was causing the translations not to work. I updated it real quick for you so you can use it. Download the updated files here and put those in your /lang file (replacing the others). Then you should see those strings translated 🙂

MemberThanks for your patience here Oliver. I was able to check that out and identify the problem. Since that string is used with Additional Fields, it needed to have the PRO text domain. It currently has the-events-calendar. I’ve noted that to be fixed for our next release. Thanks again for catching it!
