MemberHi Kevin,
The import function we are working on is actually for importing events from other calendars like Google or iCal into The Events Calendar. Any events that you have in your current install of The Events Calendar will still be there if you upgrade to Events Calendar PRO.
Does that answer your question? Or are you wondering about transferring events from another calendar plugin?

MemberHi Christian,
At this time, that feature is not available via our plugins (although I can’t speak for any others that might be available). Happily, our forthcoming version 3.0 of PRO will have a map view that functions much as you describe. We’re currently beta testing version 3.0 and working hard toward our public release. Keep an eye on our website or social media for a release date announcement.

MemberHi Steve,
Thanks for getting in touch. I suspect that the issue you’re seeing is due to a minor conflict with your web site’s theme. It might be helpful to get in touch with your site’s theme developer to see if they can shed some light on the subject.
You also may be able to make the necessary changes using a template override or similar customization. You can check out this tutorial: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/ for more information.
I can tell you that if you choose to upgrade to the PRO plugin, your basic layout will be the same. PRO contains more functionality, but the core plugin remains the same. Any customizations you make to coordinate with the theme will also work with PRO. As the PRO license comes with access to the support forums, we may also be able to help you will some of the customizations if necessary.

MemberHey Laura,
Thanks for getting in touch. We would still like to add reminder emails, but we don’t have any concrete date or roadmap for it. I’m sorry I can’t be more specific. You can keep an eye on updates and new features by subscribing to our newsletter, or by watching our social media for announcements.

MemberHi Schalk,
Thanks for getting in touch. I replied to your email yesterday.
You can see a demo of WooTickets in action at http://demo.tri.be/event/the-events-calendar-wootickets-wordpress-demo/. I’d be happy to answer any questions you might have as well.
I don’t completely understand what you mean by the tickets in a table format, could you give me a screen shot? Either way, the ease of templating will depend of course on your abilities and experience with that kind of work.

MemberIt’s definitely a very cool idea. I’ll add it to our list of requested features for upcoming builds.

MemberHey Ben,
Thanks for staying in touch. Thanks to your enthusiasm and other people who has asked for this feature, we’ve decided to keep it in for our 3.0 release. I can’t give you a date when 3.0 will be available, but we hope it will be soon, and anyone with a 2.x license will get a free update.

MemberHi Iestyn,
There is no built in way to have the calendar display different views at different sizes. It may be possible using third party customization, but I’m afraid that’s out of our realm of support.

MemberHi Jennifer,
I doubt it is a conflict with WooThemes or WooCommerce. Since you said you’ve tested with no other plugins, I assume that means with WooCommerce deactivated as well. It’s unlikely that your theme would be causing the issue, but can you try reverting to the default Twenty Twelve theme and seeing if the issue persists? Also, are you running our most current version, Events Calendar PRO 2.0.11?
Thanks for your patience as we work through this.

MemberHi Jervis,
Events Calendar PRO does run on WordPress 3.5 multisites. Keep in mind that only the site(s) in the network that have license keys associated will update automatically to our newest versions. We are working on developing multisite pricing for networks with more than 10 sites.
Does that answer your question? Let me know if I can clarify.

MemberHi Mark,
It appears that the highlighting of News is because the events page is a child page of the News page, so it highlights those page titles when on the /events page. This setting is most likely caused by your theme, and would not be effected by upgrading to Events Calendar PRO. I recommend that you get in touch with your theme’s developer, as they likely can shed some light on the issue.
Thanks for your support.
