MemberHi Shawn,
We’d be happy to help you out, but would you mind posting in the PRO forum?
Thanks,
LeahLeah
MemberHi Victor,
You can email us at [email protected]. Just to double check, our product is called Events Calendar PRO, not Event Manager. Is that what you’re trying to buy?
If sounds like you are using an invalid credit card, or missing needed information like the security code. Do you have another card you can try?

MemberHello,
Since you’re now a PRO customer, I’d like to ask you to move the conversation over to our PRO forum. That’s were we handle these types of support questions, while this forum is reserved for pre-sales questions.
We can provide some help with your project, although step-by-step instructions for this kind of serious customization are beyond our support capabilities. If you start a thread in the PRO forums with your idea and questions, we can get you started on the right template file and provide some other tips.
Cheers,

MemberHi Sam,
Our plugins don’t currently have that kind of functionality. You can import events from the calendar into a Google Calendar, but not vice versa. There are no features for marking availability. I’m sorry our plugin won’t work for you. Best of luck on your project!

MemberHowdy,
Thanks for getting in touch and for your interest in our plugins.
1. This is not currently possible with the PRO plugin. It would be possible with Eventbrite Tickets or WooTickets- both can handle free events as well as paid ones.
2. There is not a built-in way to limit event submission to logged in users, although it may very well be possible with some customization or another plugin. I recommend that you check out our Community Events forum and see if other people have tried or achieved something similar. The notifications are also not built in- event registration doesn’t currently distinguish between the submitter and other users. Again, it may be possible with customizing, but it’s not a built in feature.
Does that answer your questions?

MemberHi Jane,
I’d be happy to help you straighten that out. Please send us an email at [email protected] and include the email receipt you got with your purchase.
Thanks,

MemberHey Alta,
Thanks for your interest. The PRO plugin does not include additional templates or template functionality. I definitely recommend that you continue to play with the free plugin to see if it’ll work for you. Have you checked out our Themer’s Guide? That may help you get started. Also, I recommend that you search our PRO forum for other users who may have tried or accomplished something similar.

MemberHi Rob,
Thanks for getting in touch. The features you mentioned are not currently part of The Events Calendar itself. There certainly might be some plugins that would work for you, but I don’t know of any of hand. I recommend that you download our free core plugin, and experiment pairing that with other plugins. In general, a plugin that pairs with our core plugin will also work nicely with our PRO plugin.

MemberNo Google map button or map display on any event imported from FB. The Event Calendar is set to display Google map buttons and maps. They’re simply not on the imported events.
Hey Cliff,
I did some testing on this, and it turns out that the Show Map check box is by default not checked when you import an event. Once I went back in and checked that box, the map showed up on the event page. Happily, Jonah wrote some code to get around this issue, so that the Show Map option is enabled for all imported events. You can check out his solution here: https://gist.github.com/jonahcoyote/5032062
We’re still working on your other questions, but I wanted to update you.
Cheers,
LeahLeah
MemberOops, I’m sorry I forgot to answer your question about excerpts! We actually have that function built in- there’s an excerpt box on the New Event page.

MemberAwesome Geoff! Thanks so much. If you have any further questions, you can now post in our premium forums for PRO and Eventbrite.

MemberHi Tin,
Thanks for your interest. We’ve got a handy tutorial about customizing the calendar widget that can hopefully shed some light on this. Besides that, I recommend searching the PRO forums for other people who have tried customizing the widget to see what has worked for them.

MemberHi megad,
I’m not sure I completely understand your question- our calendar plugin has its own events RSS feed, and we’ve got a little tutorial on adding events to your main RSS feed.
Is that what you were looking for?

MemberHi Joan,
Yes, that is a common request from our users. At this time, we don’t have any baked-in way of charging people for event submission. It may be possible with customization or a third party plugin, but it’s really outside our realm of support. That being said, we do our best to listen to customer demand and may consider adding a feature like this in the future. Thanks for your feedback!

MemberHi megad,
To clarify, are you looking for a way for site visitors to register and buy tickets for an event? Or submit their own events to the calendar? or something else? We do have add-ons for the first two functions I noted, but they don’t come built into Events Calendar PRO. You can check out our other add-ons at https://tri.be/products/.
Cheers,
