MemberHi ubisan,
If you’re using Events 3.0, you can get a list of past events at events/past/. Does that work for you? Or were you thinking of some custom query?

MemberHi birchmere,
Sorry about the inconvenience with this. Is there anything else we can do here? If not, I’ll close up the thread.
Thanks,

MemberHi Don,
Thanks for getting in touch. In The Events Calendar 3.0, users can search by keyword. Events Calendar PRO 3.0 and above includes a Location search as well as a sweet map view that will give you events nearby sorted by distance, just as you described. You can see it in action on our demo site. Let me know if you have any further questions.

MemberHi Mike,
Yep, you can use the same license for both the dev and live sites. You can learn more about how that works here. Let me know if you have any questions.

MemberHi guys,
We’re still pretty focused on the maintenance builds for 3.0, so we do not have further news on the Importer. The best way to keep track of news and updates is to join our newsletter via the field below or keep an eye on our social media. Thanks for your patience!

MemberHi L,
At this time, there is not a built in Social Share option. Sorry I couldn’t give you better news.

MemberHi L,
The Related Events are automatically included in Events Calendar PRO 3.0 and above. Does that answer that question?
It is very possible to color code by category. One of our fans wrote a great plugin that makes it really easy to do. And it’s free! You can download it here.
Let me know if I can be of any further help.

MemberHi KK,
Thanks for getting in touch. The Events Calendar does have microformats although it’s not listed. They’re in the free core plugin, so you don’t even need to buy PRO to get them. Let me know if I can provide any further info.

MemberHi theshutterclick,
Thanks for your note. The Events Calendar does have some responsive elements but it is not mobile-ready and may not display nicely on a tablet or phone. You’re definitely not doing anything wrong, it’s just not yet a built in feature. If you’re willing to dive a little deeper into the code for a solution, you might check out this thread on the subject. If you’d like to encourage us to add full responsiveness in an upcoming build, you can vote for it on our UserVoice Forum.

MemberHi Francisco,
Thanks for getting in touch. The Events Calendar normally has four templates, the Default Events Template (no sidebar), Default Page Template, Front Page Template, and the Full Width Template (no sidebar). Since the Default Events Template is labeled as deprecated on your install, I suspect your theme has something to do with this. If your theme didn’t come with a template with no sidebar, you may need to switch themes, contact your theme dev, or do a template override. You might also check out our Themer’s Guide.
You can remove the Search bar above the calendar by going to Events –> Settings and checking the Disable the Event Search Bar option on the Display tab.

MemberHi there bisdigital,
Events 3.0 has so many new features that it is essentially a new plugin. We don’t have any release notes for it, but you can get an idea of the new features on the product page and in the New User Primer. Check those out, and if you have any further questions feel free to ask here.
Cheers,

MemberHi bisdigital,
Thanks for your enthusiasm and interest in the Filters Bar. We found that we needed more time to prefect the Filters Bar and didn’t want to hold up 3.0, so we released Events 3.0 first. We are continuing to work on the Filters Bar and hope to release it soon. Keep an eye on our site and social media for more news. Thanks for your patience!

July 22, 2013 at 5:04 pm in reply to: Mini-Calendar not displaying correctly ( 2 AM cutoff time issue) #56424Leah
MemberHi Dave,
Good question. I don’t know how soon this will be fixed, but the fix shouldn’t require you re-entering your events, unless you are entering them differently now because of the issue (for example, if you were entering them now as only going to 11:59 to avoid the problem.) But still, that wouldn’t be a big change, so there’s no big reason not to add your events.
For the other issue, have you tried resetting your permalinks and checked for a plugin conflict? Those would be the first steps to troubleshooting. If you want to keep things more organized, you’re welcome to start a fresh thread for this subject- it’ll make things a little easier if we need to get a dev involved, and for other people with a similar problem.
Thanks,
Leah -
