Participanthello, my site http://www.nerdmeltla.com/calendar, i cannot remove the sidebars so there’ll be a full view of the calendar. i’ve gone to Events/Settings/display and selected under “EVENTS TEMPLATE” NO SIDEBARS (Deprecated).
Also, can i get rid of the search above the calendar. I don’t like it, don’t want it.Thank you,

MemberHi Francisco,
Thanks for getting in touch. The Events Calendar normally has four templates, the Default Events Template (no sidebar), Default Page Template, Front Page Template, and the Full Width Template (no sidebar). Since the Default Events Template is labeled as deprecated on your install, I suspect your theme has something to do with this. If your theme didn’t come with a template with no sidebar, you may need to switch themes, contact your theme dev, or do a template override. You might also check out our Themer’s Guide.
You can remove the Search bar above the calendar by going to Events –> Settings and checking the Disable the Event Search Bar option on the Display tab.

ParticipantHello Leah, Before the upgrade it was working just fine without a sidebar. My theme is Suffusion, which has a no sidebar template for the theme. I’ve selected no sidebar on the page and the same on the Calendar settings. If it worked before the upgrade but not after, i’m assuming it’s the upgrade. I had to decrease the font size of the calendar to make it fit on the page with the sidebar. But that’s just a band-aid, any help will be appreciated.
Thank you,

ParticipantHi Francisco,
Unfortunately there’s not too much we can do to help you get your website layout correct. You’ll need to try one of the template options available, and if none of those work, you’ll need to make customizations to the templates to get things looking the way you want. I would suggest starting with our Themer’s guide (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/).
I hope that helps!
