MemberHi folks,
Thanks for getting in touch and for reporting this problem. This is a recently discovered bug that occurs with WordPress 3.6 and Events Calendar PRO. We are working actively on a fix for our next maintenance release, but in the meantime you can find a patch in this forum thread. Thanks for your patience while we get a permanent solution in place.

Member@cakeandeatitdesigns, there is not a built in way to change the datepicker, no. You’d need to customize that yourself.
@Snorton, I’m not sure about your question, but lemme see if I can find out.Leah
MemberYursil, I’m going to go ahead and close up this thread in favor of the other.

MemberHi Joerg,
With both The Events Calendar (our free core plugin) and Events Calendar PRO, you’ll get all of the core files. And you are welcome to customize things as you like. Does that answer your question?

MemberHi Becky,
Thanks for getting in touch and for your interest in WooCommerce: Tickets. Since our ticketing plugin requires WooCommerce, you might want to read a bit about it to help you decide it our plugin will work for you. The actual ticket purchases are all handled by WooCommerce, while our ticketing plugin integrates the power of WooCommerce with our Events Calendar.
Can you charge a fee like a % of the total sales or a % of each ticket sold to clients? Or is there another way to make this happen?
The plugin itself does not have a way of charging a fee as you describe. However, it may be possible with a different WooCommerce extension.
How is the money collected distributed to the client?
The money can be collected in a variety of ways. The core WooCommerce plugin allows a few payment gateways: check, PayPal, credit card via Mijireh, and direct deposit. You can choose which of those to accept and configure the options to get paid. You can also add other WooCommerce extensions if you need other payment gateways. Does that answer your question?
The last 2 videos on the WooTickets page stop 1/2 way through, so if it is covered in one of the videos, I was not able to view them.
Ae you referring to the videos in the New User Primer (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/wootickets-new-user-primer/)? They seem to be working now- you might try a different browser, or watching them on YouTube.

MemberHi Bree,
With both The Events Calendar (the free core plugin) and Events Calendar PRO, you can see a list of past events at site/events/past/. There isn’t a built in way of adding that to the View As dropdown, but you could definitely add it to your header menu as a custom link. Also, it’s accessible if a user is looking at Upcoming Events and clicks the Previous Events button.
Does that answer your question?

MemberHi Mike,
Thank you for getting in touch for your very thorough report. I appreciate that you tried to solve the issue before posting, and I’m sorry that didn’t work. We’ll do our best to help you get this resolved.
I set my time zone to New York and imported two of the events from the list you gave me. Both of them came in on the correct day, but 3 hours later, and starting and ending at the same time. So although I couldn’t recreate your issue, there does seem to be something fishy. I’ve asked one of our developers to look into this.
I do have some questions for you that will help us troubleshoot further:
– Can you tell me what versions of WordPress, The Events Calendar, Events Calendar PRO (if you have it) and Facebook Events you are running?
– Do you have a End of Day cutoff set under Events –> Settings?
– Have you been able to successfully import other events, such as those with both a start and end time in Facebook?
– Are you experiencing this problem with individual import (by event ID number), automatic import (by page) or both?Thank you for your patience while we delve into this further.

MemberThanks for the report Andy! We’d noticed that as well, and are hoping to get it fixed ASAP.

MemberHi trevellyan,
So neither of those events have tags in common? Some screenshots of both the event details and related events listed with them would be great.
Thanks!
LeahLeah
MemberThanks for posting that Nabha! I’m glad you found something that’ll work for you.

MemberHi folks,
The Related Events are based mainly on Category and Tags. If you think you’re seeing incorrect behavior, feel free to submit a (detailed) example and we can look into it.

MemberHi soundmutants,
We changed the way the Calendar widget worked in Events 3.0, so it no longer has tooltips. We do not have any specific plans to re-add toolltips, but since so many folks have expressed disappointment about their disappearance I have ticketed it as a potential feature to add in a future build. If you’d like to encourage us, please vote for it in our UserVoice Forum.
Meanwhile, if you’d like to downgrade back to 2.0.11 you can follow the steps here. If you would prefer to get a refund for your purchase and find a different calendar solution, you can email me at pro (at) tri.be and include the receipt from your original purchase.
Best,
