MemberHi Herb,
Thanks for getting in touch and for your interest in our plugins.
At this time, there is not a baked in feature for multiple calendars. However, there is a way to create something very similar by using categories. So for example the events for Calendar A would all be in the event category A. Then you can call the calendars sorted by category, which essentially shows a calendar with only those events. We have a little FAQ about doing that here. Another option might be to use a multisite, with a sub-site for each region.
Let me know if you have any further questions or can otherwise help out.

MemberHi accessrose,
I’m afraid I don’t fully understand what you’re describing, and that link just took me to the basic eventon page. Are you looking to move the date picker from the Event Bar across the top of the calendar? Or something else completely?
Thanks,

MemberHi Sherm,
Thanks for getting in touch. I checked out your site, and it sounds like you used to have the Upcoming Events List widget and now you have the Calendar widget- that would explain both of your questions.
To change it back, go to your WordPress dashboard and go to Appearance –> Widgets. As I noted, you probably have our Calendar widget currently in your sidebar. You can drag that out of the sidebar area and then drag over the Events List widget. That will show the next 10 events and a Show All Events link.

MemberHi psasser,
Yes, we are planning to include a fix for this in the next release. That should hopefully be around the end of the month, but that’s definitely not a guarantee. It’s important to us to fix things thoroughly and test them before release, but sometimes that takes longer than expected. Thanks for your patience.

We’re a bit behind in the forums right now, but someone will take a look at your post as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience.

MemberHi dboraks,
I’m sorry to hear the sidebar is giving you trouble. Can you tell me what versions you’re currently running, and what versions you were using before when the widget was working? That will help us get started on troubleshooting. Thanks for your patience here.

MemberHi Zappy,
Thanks for getting in touch. We’d be happy to help you troubleshoot. I can see how the View As dropdown doesn’t have any options for you right now, although the month view looks pretty good besides that.
First of all, can you tell me what versions of The Events Calendar, Events Calendar PRO, and WordPress you are currently running? Also, what theme are you using? And have you tried reverting to the default Twenty Twelve theme to see if the issue persists? I suspect that this is a theme conflict, and I’d like to confirm that to move forward.
Thanks,
LeahLeah
MemberHi frontpor- it looks like we addressed your question in your other thread (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/link-for-full-calendar-ical-import/) so I’m going to close this one.
Thanks,
LeahLeah
MemberI think you’re right- it just sounds like the two plugins aren’t talking to each other properly. Hopefully the Simple Sidebar dev can shed some light on the issue 🙂

MemberHi trevellyan,
Thanks for sending those along. This issue for you is that you actually only have two events on your site- the Planning Board Meeting and the Board of Trustees Meeting. They are both recurring events with multiple instances, but they act as the same event. Recurring Events don’t relate to other instances of themselves, since then Recurring Events would never relate to anything but themselves. Essentially, on your site the Related Events feature only has one other option, so it lists the other meetings instances. Does that make sense?
The Related Events feature is probably more relevant on a site with more events. And the above behavior is designed for that sort of thing, since most calendars have a lot of different events. We are considering making a setting to turn Related Events off. If you’re interested, you can vote for that on our UserVoice forum.
Thanks for your patience while I looked into this.

MemberHi Renee,
Glad to hear you figured things out. If you need any help with the CSS let us know. And if you haven’t already, definitely check out our Themer’s Guide.
Thanks!

MemberHi Steve,
Yes it is 😀 If you go to Events –> Settings and click the Display tab, you’ll see an option for Add HTML Before Calendar and Add HTML After Calendar. You can add text (as well as html tags) there and it will appear Above or Below the event listings on your site.

MemberHi acmt85,
I’m sorry to hear that the calendar is giving you trouble. I’m going to need some more information about the problem you’re seeing. What version of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO were you previously using? And what version(s) were you updating to when it stopped working? Also, can you tell me a bit more about how it stopped working? Once I have more detail I can help further.

MemberHi Mike,
Thanks for the update here. I’m def glad to hear that things are improving. Hopefully we can get the last few pieces in place. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to see the issues you’re talking about. I checked out http://scmusicguide.com/events/ but I couldn’t see a listing for Jars of Clay on 8/21, only the one for the 18th and 19th at a different venue. I imported the Jars of Clay event from FB successfully, and the time and date came in correctly.
I’m going to ask a dev to come in and take a look at this, since I’m not sure where to go from here. But if you could give us the links to each problematic event in both Facebook and WordPress that would be helpful. Thanks again for your patience.
Best,
