ParticipantEver since the last upgrade our calendar widget has stopped showing up. I’ve read through the forums and have found nothing that has helped. The widget is ‘available’, but when I put it into my sidebar the only thing that comes up is a bar with nothing on it. So it’s not actually populating any type of calendar whatsoever. Please help.

MemberHi dboraks,
I’m sorry to hear the sidebar is giving you trouble. Can you tell me what versions you’re currently running, and what versions you were using before when the widget was working? That will help us get started on troubleshooting. Thanks for your patience here.

ParticipantWe recently upgraded to Events Calendar 3.0.1 (from whatever the previous version was), running along with Community Events 1.0.5 and Event Calendar Pro 2.0.11 … We’re on WordPress 3.5.2 …

MemberHi dboraks,
Thanks for that info. You are running very different versions of the three plugins- I’m actually surprised you’re not having more issues than just the one you reported.
The current version of The Events Calendar is 3.0.3. Events Calendar PRO is 3.0.5, and Community Events is 3.0.1. I believe the reason the widget disappeared is because while your core plugin is from the 3.x build, your PRO plugin is still on the older (and very different) 2.x build.
There are two ways to solve the disparate version issue. If you have valid licenses for PRO and Community (or are willing to renew) you should update those plugins to the most recent version. If the license keys are entered on your site under Events –> Settings –> License Keys then you will get automatic update notices right in your dashboard.
If you don’t have valid licenses for those two and can’t renew, you’ll want to downgrade your core plugin back to 2.0.11 to match the other two. You can get outdated versions of The Events Calendar here. I recommend, however, that you update all your plugins to the latest because you’ll get access to new better features and also because we can’t support outdated versions.
Let me know if I can help with any of the above or provide more info.

Moderatordboraks, you must run 3.x versions of both The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar PRO

MemberBingo on both fronts. Closing this one since that seems to have solved the problem.
