MemberHi ukumito,
Thanks for volunteering to help out with the Spanish translations. As I noted in the other thread, the only Spanish translations we need right now are for Eventbrite Tickets and Facebook Events. I checked out your translations of those two, but it looks like you did not update them with the latest .pot file so you didn’t translate all the new strings.
I updated the .po files for you so that you can translate the other strings. You can download the files here. Once those are complete, please upload them again and I will test them out. I’d be happy to give you a license for Filter Bar in exchange. Thank you for contributing to our plugins!

MemberHi marcosnoy,
Thank you. The Dutch translation in versions 3.4 and 3.4.1 is outdated, but happily I have a new one that will be released with versions 3.5. That should fix the untranslated strings.
If you’d like to get those translated now (without waiting for the next release) you can download the updated translation files here. You can then add the .po and .mo files to plugins/the-events-calendar/lang and plugins/events-calendar-pro/lang, replacing the existing nl_NL files.
If you have any trouble, just let me know and I’d be happy to help out.

MemberHi Mike,
I’m happy to report that Product Vendors integrated nicely with our WooCommerce Tickets plugin. Thanks for your patience while we looked into this!

MemberHi Ukume,
Thanks for volunteering to help out! We’d love to have your assistance. Most of our Spanish translations are already up to date. But two do needs some work: Facebook Events and Eventbrite Tickets. It would be great if you could update the translations for one or both of those plugins. Check out the Getting Started post where you’ll find the instructions and files you need. Thanks again for your contribution!

MemberHi marcosnoy,
I suspect that the .po file for your language is a little outdated, which is why some strings aren’t getting translated. Can you tell me which language file you’re using? Then I can see if we have an updated one ready for release, or if it still needs work.
Thanks,

MemberHi Nathaniel,
Thanks for getting in touch. I’ll admit I’m not familiar with Outlook, but I checked around in our forums to see if someone else had experimented with this. As you found, we don’t have a built in way to export directly to Outlook- you need to use the .ics import and then add it to Outlook.
Have you tried contacting Outlook support about this? It almost sounds like it might be something in your settings, or some quirk of Outlook, that makes the .ics file a new calendar. They may be able to shed some light on it.
I also found that one of our helpful forum regulars has a snippet that will help you import the .ics file right into your Outlook calendars. The snippet is in this post. You can drop that in your theme’s functions.php file and it should work (as you can see if did for the other user). However, as Andy noted this will cause issues if your users are also importing to Google Calendar or iCal- but if they are only importing to Outlook, if might be a good option. We can’t guarantee something like this, but it is an option.
Hopefully the above can help you make a decision. Let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you.

MemberHi Matt,
Thanks for posting, and for your interest in our plugins. We don’t have a tabbed sidebar calendar like you described, but our widgets may still suit your needs. Events Calendar PRO has a Mini Calendar Widget which shows a specified number of events in a list below. You can limit the calendar to one category of events (ex. Downtown Events). So you could potentially do two calendars for your different categories, or you might be able to customize the widget to work with tabs like your current one.
You can read more about our widgets and see screenshots here. The Advanced Upcoming Events List can also display a truncated list of events, from all categories or one specific one. Let me know if you have any further questions!

MemberHi cartamagica,
Thanks for getting in touch. At this time, there isn’t a built in way to do this. The good news is that we are actively working on adding this feature so that you can select multiple categories. I recommend that you subscribe to our UserVoice thread. We will update there once this feature is added.
If you need this functionality immediately, you’d need to customize the plugin. That would be beyond us to support, but you can start by checking out our documentation. Otherwise stay tuned and the feature will be built in 🙂

MemberHi Liza,
Thanks so much for working on these. The files look great and we’d be happy to have a Afrikaans translation. However, it is important that our 2 main plugins are also translated into Afrikaans. Especially because many strings that are used in WPEC Tickets are actually from the translation of The Events Calendar, so you need both Can you please also translate The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO?
The Getting Started post has all the instructions and files you need. When you’re done, you can post the files here just like you did with the WPEC Tickets files. Thanks for contributing to our plugins!

MemberHi malasmadres,
Thanks for getting in touch. The current release of WooCommerce Tickets has a slightly outdated Spanish translation, which is why you’re seeing those in English. The upcoming maintenance release (3.5) will include an updated translation, so those strings should show properly in Spanish.
That release is in the works, but if you need something immediately you might look into using a string-specific translation plugin like Say What?
Cheers,
Leah

MemberHi Gordon,
Thanks for getting in touch. You can essentially use the same license key on your live site and your dev sites, as long as you are willing to update the plugin(s) on your dev site manually. We have a little guide here that explains it. If you don’t want to have to update the plugins manually, you would want to buy a license for each site so that you can have automatic updates. Does that answer your question?

MemberHi virtualvenice,
Unfortunately, our plugins are not compatible with WPML. We are hoping to improve this in the future, but at this time it is a known conflict and we cannot provide much support for it. I’m sorry I can’t give you a happier answer. I recommend that you keep an eye on our UserVoice thread for this so that you can get updates as we work on this.
Best,
Leah
