MemberHi gohwebmaster,
Thanks for getting in touch. I’m not entirely sure I understand what you said about redirecting. Events Calendar PRO is an add-on for The Events Calendar. It essentially works on top of The Events Calendar- you won’t have a second calendar, just the same one with more features. So you won’t be able to redirect to a calendar showing only your old events, unless you do some customizing.
When you activate Events Calendar PRO, all your original events will remain on your site and working. You should not lose any data or have an disruptions. Does that clear things up for you?

MemberHi Xoueo,
Thanks for posting. At this time, our plugins are not compatible with WPML or qTranslate. Some of our users have been able to use those plugins, but we are not able to provide any support on those. Hopefully in the future we will be able to increase compatibility for multi-language sites.
Your module only add date or can i use time slots on selling page?
I’m sorry, I don’t really understand your question. Can you tell me more about what you are looking for?
Best,

MemberHi Marilyn,
Thanks for much for posting! I’d be happy to answer your questions.
1) WooCommerce Tickets can only be made from the backend of the site. So site visitors submitting events from the front end (via Community Events) would not be able to add tickets to their events. Site admins could add tickets to those events as desired. Otherwise the site visitor could add a link to the ticket sales in the description of their event. Does that answer your question?
2) If you have Events Calendar PRO, you can make additional custom fields on your events. If I understand your question correctly though, you are wanting to have people purchasing tickets be able to fill out additional info when they purchase. Is that correct? WooCommerce Tickets does not yet have this feature, although we are looking at adding it in the future. At this time, you would need to do some custom work on the plugin to have this functionality. We’d be happy to recommend some developers if you need.
If you want to have events at different venues, those would need to be separate events- unless, as I noted above, you’ve customized the plugin to support that.
3) Are you looking to sell additional items, like t-shirts or water bottles? All of the payments and orders in for our tickets are going through the WooCommerce engine. WooCommerce can certainly support other sales, and the backend will be identical as it is in fact the same plugin. Does that answer your question?
Let me know if I can elaborate on the above or answer any other questions!

MemberHi Juanma,
Thanks for getting in touch! The feature requests for barcodes are for our other ticketing plugins, which do not have that feature. However, our Eventbrite Tickets plugin does provide barcodes on each ticket. Here’s an example of an Eventbrite ticket that your user would receive via email. They can also get tickets on their mobile device. Does that answer your question?

MemberHi Sherry,
Thanks for getting in touch and for your interest in WooCommerce Tickets! At this time, there is no built in way to do package deals like you are describing. You can sell various kinds of single tickets- like different prices or different date availability- but there isn’t a way to sell multiples in a bundles like that. Users can certainly choose to buy eight tickets together, but you couldn’t make that a particular ticket package. Does that make sense?
All that being said, it is possible that there’s a WooCommerce extension available that could combine with WooCommerce Tickets to do what you’re looking for. I recommend that you do get in touch with the folks at WooCommerce and see if they know of something that might work for this.
Finally, no, WooCommerce Tickets does require Events Calendar PRO. You can use it with just the core plugin (The Events Calendar) if you prefer.
Let me know if I can answer any further questions!

MemberHi Natalie,
That’s a good question. You can require that visitors become registered users on your site before they can make any purchases. That way they would be able to (and required to) log in again when they wanted to make another purchase.
I’m not positive about whether WooCommerce can save information such as a credit card number. Since the payment is handled exclusively via WooCommerce, I recommend that you check with them. They should be able to answer your question more positively than I could. Thank you!

MemberHi Robert,
Thanks for your interest in our plugins. I’d be happy to answer your questions
1) Initially the calendar gave me problems. I had to modify plugin code to get monthly paging to work. This was frustrating and when I went to look at the support forum, the staff responses were all private. This is not so much a question, but feedback. If I hadn’t been able to hack around the problem on my own, I would have moved on.
I’m sorry you had trouble integrating the calendar. I suspect there was a minor theme or third-party plugin issue, but I’m very glad to hear you were able to work around it. We try to keep our forums open and accessible so that others can use them as resources, but we do occasionally use private replies when including sensitive information. In addition to the forums, we have our Themer’s Guide and other tutorials available to assist both our free and PRO users.
2) I notice there’s not a way in the free version to duplicate an event. Is this something that could be done in the Pro version? Or is it something that can be handled by the recurring events? The intention is that we have the same course that might be held multiple times. I want the coordinator to not have to recreate the event each time.
There is no way in the free or PRO versions to duplicate an event direction. However, users have found a number of different post-duplicator plugins that are compatible and can serve that purchase. You can see some of their suggestions on ourUserVoice page.
Recurring Events may also work for you, depending on your needs. I recommend that you check out the our guide to recurring events to see what they can do.3) I am interested in a ticketing plugin. Further to #2, if I use a recurring event it looks like the ticketing system will not work. So, I guess my question is simply, is there a trivial way to duplicate an event that I’m missing, aside from copy and paste for each field?
Folks who want to use our ticketing plugins with a recurring event generally duplicate the event instead of using our actual Recurrence feature, since that isn’t yet compatible. You can use one of the plugins I mentioned above, and then you’ll be able to do tickets for each different event.
4) I am in Canada, the ticketing systems are “fully internationalized” but I’m unfamiliar with WooCommerce, or the other platforms. I know this is more of a question for the individual e-commerce platforms, and I’m looking into it now, but I would be comforted by some confirmation that it would be reasonable to expect to use your calendar and a one of those ticketing plugins and be able to accept credit card payments to schedule a seat in the course.
You will likely want to double check, but each of these ticketing platforms should have no problem accepting credit cards and working internationally. The biggest roadblock I see in the above is that none of our plugins currently manage specific seats- folks can buy a ticket to register for the course, and the available ticket number will decrease as they are bought, but there is not yet a way to assign seats or collect other information. Will that still work for you?
Let me know if I can elaborate on the above or answer any further questions. Thank you!
