ParticipantHi,
I am experiencing a difference between the main event page, /events and the calendar widget on the front page. Two days old events are still on display at the widget, but not at the main event page.
I have disabled my cache plugin, minifyer, cleared my browser cache, nothing helps, but when I am logged in things work perfect.
What should I try to solve this? Best Anders

ParticipantI have been using the calendar widget, which means it only show events of the month, I was confused because I have disabled the calendar and only kept the list. How can I disable this month limit, I prefer the calendar widget view over the list widget view.
I will try to look into the loop, but I need some assistance.

MemberHi!
So it sounds like the list widget would better suit your needs here, but that you are trying to use the calendar widget because you prefer its appearance – is that correct?
If so, the best route is probably to customize the calendar widget (by adding new styles and, if necessary, overriding the list widget templates) – that’s likely to be a faster route toward achieving what you want here than modifying the calendar widget, though ultimately the path you follow is up to you 🙂
Please do check out the Themer’s Guide if you haven’t already done so, as it covers both adding custom stylesheets and the process for overriding templates.
Does that help?

ParticipantHi!
I indeed prefer the calendar widget appearance. I am trying, but having a hard time styling the list widget, no way of changing the calendar widget loop instead?
I will keep trying. Best AndersFebruary 26, 2014 at 3:45 pm #109894Barry
MemberYou could follow either approach really – but neither is one where we can (at least at this time) give you a “pre-rolled” solution, unfortunately.

Participant@andersha / @barry: Here’s a list widget template override I created for the same purpose of mimicking the style of the list of events in the mini-calendar widget without the calendar itself.
