    Hello,
    I’m really interested in your WooCommerce plugin, but have a few questions before I buy it. I hope I’m not duplicating – I did look in FAQs etc.
    1) if I also buy Community Events, how would buying tickets work? I would have people from the area submitting events for us to advertise, but the money would not be coming to us, and the tickets not from us. I assume that they’d just create the event as if we didn’t have a premium plugin, and then ask people to contact them for tickets. Is that correct?
    2) Is it possible to create a free event with custom fields and selectable options? For example I would need a drop-down list of the area they live in, or the venue option they have selected. The venue option changes what date that event occurs – perhaps we would have to list these as different listings? I see that we can download a list of who has said they are attending which will be very helpful.

    3) I like how you can mark the status of the ticket order and how it sends out emails saying that they have bought the ticket. Do you have a plugin where I can create a form to sell items and use this status marker etc in the same way?

    Hi Marilyn,

    Thanks for much for posting! I’d be happy to answer your questions.

    1) WooCommerce Tickets can only be made from the backend of the site. So site visitors submitting events from the front end (via Community Events) would not be able to add tickets to their events. Site admins could add tickets to those events as desired. Otherwise the site visitor could add a link to the ticket sales in the description of their event. Does that answer your question?

    2) If you have Events Calendar PRO, you can make additional custom fields on your events. If I understand your question correctly though, you are wanting to have people purchasing tickets be able to fill out additional info when they purchase. Is that correct? WooCommerce Tickets does not yet have this feature, although we are looking at adding it in the future. At this time, you would need to do some custom work on the plugin to have this functionality. We’d be happy to recommend some developers if you need.

    If you want to have events at different venues, those would need to be separate events- unless, as I noted above, you’ve customized the plugin to support that.

    3) Are you looking to sell additional items, like t-shirts or water bottles? All of the payments and orders in for our tickets are going through the WooCommerce engine. WooCommerce can certainly support other sales, and the backend will be identical as it is in fact the same plugin. Does that answer your question?
