Unfortunately the Italian translations for both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO are very outdated, so there are a large number of strings that are broken or missing. All of our translations are done by volunteers, and we haven’t had anyone work on the Italian one in a while. Would you be interested in doing that?

If you’re interested, you can check out the Getting Started post where you’ll find the instructions and files you need. Make sure that you update the existing translation with the latest .pot file so that the new and changed strings are added. When you finish, you can post the files here and they’ll be added into the plugins. In exchange, I’ll give you a coupon for a free license or renewal for Events Calendar PRO.

I’m sorry you’re having trouble with the plugin conflict. Since you don’t have a premium license with us, you’ll need to post your issue to the open source forum. We hit that forum about once a week as we can, since our core effort is on the premium forums.

This issue would not be corrected by upgrading to Events Calendar PRO- a plugin conflict with The Events Calendar will also affect PRO users. I appreciate that you’ve already gotten in touch with the Formidable developers. If you post in our open source forum, we can take a look at this issue.

Thanks for getting in touch. Filter Bar does not yet have a date range. You can select the start date using the Event Bar, and any events on or after that date will show. Using the category filter will work nicely with the map as you describe.

You might be able to customize the plugin to use a date range, but at this time it’s not built in. I’d love to have you add your votes and comments to our UserVoice thread for the feature. That gets in on our radar for future builds.

Thanks for getting in touch. Your post was originally in the Pre-Sales forum, but I’ve moved it into the Events Calendar PRO Forum since that’s what it is about.

I took a look at the site, and it appears that you or your client has added that button (and the registration capabilities) as a customization. The button itself may even be in the Event Description- have you tried looking there? We’ll do our best to help, but it is difficult to assist with third-party customizations like this one. If you know who added the Register buttons, you might check with them for more details on how they did it- and how you can undo it.

Is there a particular reason you are still running the old version 2.x of our plugins? We always recommend that you stay up-to-date, and we can’t provide much support on outdated versions. We have all of our documentation for version 2.x collected on this page. You might check that out and see if you can find the info you need to do those customizations. It would require a great deal of customization and would likely cause a number of problems in the plugin itself. We definitely do not recommend that. You might consider changing the slugs for those pages, and see if that would work for you instead.

Thanks for your interest in Community Events! You can restrict access to the Add Event form to people who are registered users on your site. You’ll also be able to see all the registered site users in the Users page on the WordPress admin menu.
