ParticipantHey agruden,
Can I admit that trying to keep this situation straight is making my head spin? 🙂
So let’s separate it out. We’ve got two separate issues: 1) time zone shift and 2) auto (not) importing
The time zone shift I really can’t explain and don’t know what else to do for you. When tested, the plugin brings in those events with no problems – except on your setup. It’s something specific to your install that seems to be the trouble and we’ve tried everything I can think of. You really might want to verify with your hosting provider to see what time the server is set for because that’s the only other thing I can think of at this point. The only thing left would be some weird conflict with another plugin or script, but you said disabling the other plugins had no effect.
For the auto importing issue, one thought there that I don’t think either of us has mentioned before – you do have under Events > Settings > Facebook > Default Status set to Published, don’t you? Not Draft or Pending Review?

ParticipantHey mcewin,
Have you seen our tutorial https://theeventscalendar.com/altering-or-removing-headings-on-calendar-views/? Does that have information to help you do what you’re looking for?

ParticipantHey eurekasprings,
Looks like you’ve got a
table td {background-color: #fff !important}that’s overriding the Tribe styling and turning everything white. Changing that from #fff to #b2b2b2 seemed to take care of the widget display, but I’m not sure what other consequences that might have on your site. But that seems to be a good place to start digging into it.Let me know how it goes!

ParticipantHey Gavin,
Have you taken a look at our Themer’s Guide? (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/) It might have some information to help you figure this out. And we also have some Tutorials (https://theeventscalendar.com/the-events-calendar-for-wordpress-tutorials/) available. Although I don’t see one specific to your issue, it looks like there could be a couple that are very close and worth checking out such as Removing the iCal Import Buttons from Views.
Give that a try and let me know how it goes.

ParticipantHey rubypink,
That’s really not possible, or if it is, it would take some serious developer chops to do it. The calendar plugin isn’t designed to sync with other sites. Even the Facebook and iCal connections are straight import/export functions not embedding or syncing. I don’t know exactly what you have in mind, but I don’t think our plugin is going to be the solution you are looking for.

ParticipantHey imdesigngroup,
If you want to make modifications to the calendar, the best place to look is at our Themer’s Guide (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/) or possibly our Tutorials page (https://theeventscalendar.com/the-events-calendar-for-wordpress-tutorials/). And for the button, you may need to dig into our Documentation over at http://docs.tri.be/.
Let us know if you need anything else.

ParticipantHey andyroach,
Glad to see you got it working. Just for reference, we do have a Themer’s Guide (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/) available if you hadn’t seen that yet. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!

ParticipantHey mclanea,
Sorry you struggled with that checkin process. I’ll pass that along to the dev team and see what they can come up with. Thanks for registering it over at UserVoice though. That really helps!

ParticipantHey Robert,
Sorry I misunderstood! I think you’ll find what you’re looking for over in our Themer’s Guide (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/). We also have a Tutorials page where you might find something helpful too (https://theeventscalendar.com/the-events-calendar-for-wordpress-tutorials/).
Will this work?

ParticipantHi Matt,
Thanks for taking a look at our plugins! One possible solution in your situation is to use the free The Events Calendar plugin and then the premium Filter Bar add-on. The filter bar would allow viewers to choose their location and show only those events. To be clear, all the events would appear on the same calendar and only after they choose their location would the events be shown limited to that location.
Does that make sense?

ParticipantHey Skip,
I’m not sure our ticketing plugins are what you’re looking for; they are straightforward ticketing solutions and not comprehensive event management tools. There’s nothing like QR codes or mobile phone checkins built into them. Checking in is done through the admin dashboard of WordPress, or by a paper printout. If you’d like to see how the WooCommerce Tickets plugin would handle checkins, you can watch the video here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/wootickets-new-user-primer/#wooshow
Does that make sense?

ParticipantHey bigspring,
Exactly. Our plugin simply ties the WordPress event to the Eventbrite ticketing system.

ParticipantHey sosayweall,
After poking around a bit, as far as I can see everything is in order. And when I import those events to my calendar they are working fine, so it isn’t the plugin that’s having troubles with them. It seems to be something specific to your setup and I’m not sure how much more help I’m going to be able to provide. My only thought at this point is something with the server setup. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to resolve it for you.
