ParticipantI’m going to ask one of the devs to take a peek at this since it seems to be something in the code that’s wonky. Hang on, and they’ll get back to you as soon as they can.

ParticipantGlad it worked for you. Good luck with your events!

ParticipantOur Events Calendar PRO includes a couple of widgets that do something similar. You can display a calendar and filter by categories or tags. Or you can display a list of upcoming events and filter by category, venue, organizer, city, price, and a few other things. It’s separate from the Filter Bar, but it’s available right now.

ParticipantHi Alastair,
I’m really quite confused by your issue. That’s not a file that I’m finding in our plugin, nor is it a URL that I can access.
Could you provide some further information? Perhaps a screenshot? What are you doing when you get the error?

ParticipantThanks for the kind words tesmerjg. I know it’s not able to do what you’d like, but if you’d feel up to it, we would love it if you can write a few words for us here : http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/the-events-calendar?filter=5
Thanks in advance. 🙂

ParticipantHi catrose937,
Would a link to the webinar page on the ticket email do the trick? If so, maybe you’ll want to check out the new EDD Tickets plugin. You can see how it works here https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/edd-tickets-new-user-primer/. You could add a custom field to the ticket with a link to the webinar.
Sorry for the delay in getting an answer to you. The EDD Tickets plugin is brand new and I’m learning the ins and outs of it myself.

ParticipantHi Derek,
We gotcha covered over at http://wpshindig.com/events/. There’s no backend access, but you sure can try submitting events through the user submission feature.
Let me know if that does the trick for you.

ParticipantHi Erik,
Have you seen our New User’s Primer for the EDD ticketing? https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/edd-tickets-new-user-primer/
Does that give you the information you were looking for?

ParticipantHello campbellsvilletourism,
The plugin isn’t designed to handle non-regular recurrences. You could start with something like a weekly recurrence for Sat at 2:30 and then edit the days that don’t conform to that schedule. However doing so breaks their link to the other days.
Also, did you try the custom recurrence option?
I’m sorry that it’s not able to easily do what you’d like. This is something that is on our radar, but we don’t have a schedule defined for it yet. If you feel you’d want a refund, please email pro (at) tri.be and reference this thread and they can help you there.

ParticipantHello hrec2013,
I might be missing something here, but couldn’t you just delete the instance of the recurring event that falls on the holiday? Then you could add the holiday as an event and have that be the only thing displayed that day. You could even consider adding colors for the holidays using a trusted plugin, but that’s not from Modern Tribe, called The Events Calendar Category Colors (http://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar-category-colors/).
If I’m completely off-base, let me know.

ParticipantHello baynature,
A 502 Gateway error is something that your hosting provider will have to help you with. I’m sure the folks at WP Engine can provide an assist.
If that’s not the case, let us know!

ParticipantHello d20games,
Shhhh… don’t tell. But if you download the plugin and install it on the staging site, it will work just fine. Even without the license key. What it won’t do is update automatically. You’ll have to repeat the upload process to do that. It’s your choice, depending on your workflow, whether you want your license tied to your staging or live setup.
