    Hi wifsportlandmetro,

That’s puzzling. I’m not able to replicated those issues on my testing site. Have you tried disabling other plugins or reverting to the default Twenty Twelve theme?

If you can confirm that, I’ll pass this along to a more dev-minded team member to take a closer look.

    Hi worldgolfskills,

Why don’t you send an email to pro (at) tri.be and reference this thread. If you ask nice, they’ll do what they can to set you up.

    Hi sethdcutter,

We do have some resources available in our Themer’s Guide (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/) and Documentation (http://docs.tri.be/). And perhaps there might be something on our Tutorials page (https://theeventscalendar.com/the-events-calendar-for-wordpress-tutorials/) that would be helpful too, but I didn’t spot anything that suited your situation specifically.

    Does that help?

    Hello parentinginnky,

Our Events Calendar plugins do not have a duplicating function, but there are other plugins available that might be able to make that work with our events. You could try our free The Events Calendar with one of them and see if they work together for you.

And shortening the titles in the calendar is not something the plugin can do. Most users prefer the full title. It might be possible to change it with some fancy programming tricks, but it’s not something it can do out of the box. However, tif you’d like to request it as a feature you can add your voice to our Feature Ideas page (https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas) that would help us in prioritizing it.

    Hello again,

Facebook is the one that has determined that the “large” size is 200×200. It is a limitation of the API and Facebook controls it. It’s the biggest they make available.

I’m sorry, but there’s nothing we can do about Facebook’s rules.

    Hello again,

No, I don’t think we’re going to be able to do anything about that. The message about it being an “unsupported get request” is accurate. Facebook is not allowing that event to be imported. It is considered an “adult event” and therefore blocked from importing.

I’m sorry, but there’s nothing we can do about Facebook’s rules.

    Hello mozakdesign,

Looks to me like you’re on the right page there. And from the looks of your website, I’m thinking you got it working. Nicely done!

    Hello worldgolfskills,

So you like our Shindig theme? So do we. 🙂 It’s actually just a fancied up version of the Twenty Twelve theme. While it was custom built for us we might be able to make arrangements if you are interested in it. Be aware that setting the calendar as the home page is not something it is designed to do out of the box.

    Hello ebp1,

We did release version 3.4 last week, which is why you are getting the message. As you are a PRO user, there should be a link for autoupdating. Is it possible your license key has not been entered? That would account for the autoupdated not showing.

    Does that make sense?

    Hello sethcutter,

Your best bet for setting the meta/page titles is going to be on the individual event pages. If you’re familiar with the WordPress SEO metabox settings, they are the same for events as they are for any other page/post. As far as the calendar and other views go, the titles of those pages are pretty much embedded in the code, which actually does a fair job as far as SEO goes. To change them would require some code editing, which it sounds like wouldn’t be worth the effort for you.

    Does that make sense?

    Hello wifsportlandmetro,

Can you confirm that you have updated to the latest version of the plugin? Our recent maintenance release had a patch for some chronology issues as noted in our release notes (https://tri.be/release-version-3-4-of-the-events-calendar-events-calendar-pro-all-add-ons/).

    Hello zensuality,

Currently, the plugin is designed to show the current calendar month regardless of what day of the month it is. One possible alternative is to use the Upcoming Events widget instead of the Events Calendar widget. Or you could possibly make this customization if it suits your needs: https://theeventscalendar.com/remove-calendar-image-from-calendar-widget/. I don’t think either of those is exactly what you are looking for though. If you’d like to add this idea to our Feature Ideas page (https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas) that would help us in prioritizing it.

Sorry we don’t have a perfect solution for you at the present time.

    Hello Jen,

Help me understand this a little better, because when I go to those links and look at the events, it appears that there are different events on your home / what’s on / opportunities pages. Are they not filtering correctly? Are there “what’s on” events appearing on your “opportunities” page?

Also, can you verify that you are using the latest plugins and have deactivated other plugins and reverted to a default theme to check for conflicts? Also, have you tried switching to a different view? did any of that make a difference?

    Hello dmuuc,

The latest update has the wording “View All Events” if the list is not filtered by a category and “View All Events in Category” if it is filtered by category. This was a feature requested by other users (see the release notes https://tri.be/release-version-3-4-of-the-events-calendar-events-calendar-pro-all-add-ons/), but apparently that doesn’t suit you?

Let me have one of the devs see if they can recommend a way to change up the wording.
