    Hi sirbayard,

    Looks like you’re on your way to sorting out the conflict. You might want to mention what you’ve found to the theme developer and they may be able to suggest a way to rename the div that won’t break everything.

    Hello itpromotion,

    Let’s see if I’m understanding you correctly, because I might not be. For your first question, I think you are asking about having the default be the day view instead of the monthly view when going to the /events/ page. If so, there’s a spot under Events > Settings > Display > Default view to change it to Day.

    For your second question, I’m really not certain what you are asking. The widget is set to show events from today’s date forward. Or if you click on a date, it will show the events scheduled on that date.

    Hello itpromotion,

    I’m not quite sure what you are asking here. Have you tried importing images and they’re not working properly? When I try importing that event it seems to be working as expected. And to be clear, Facebook sets the rules as far as what image sizes come across. We’ve coded the plugin to import the “large” images, but the actual size that is coming across has been fluctuating recently. It looks like their current definition of “large” is 200px x 200px.

    If by chance your image is smaller than that, it has helped to delete the event and reimport it to get the current size.

    Does that make sense?

    Also, can you provide a link to a Facebook event that has such characters?

    Thanks so much for the info on the emails! We’ll look into that and see if we can get it sorted out.

    With regards to your main issue, several of us have tried to replicate it and have been unsuccessful. Would you be willing to grant us access to your site to test it a bit and see what’s going on? Understand that I would have to make minor changes to your site to conduct the testing, but will remove them when I’m done. If so, you could post the login details in a private message here.

    Thanks for the follow-up. Our support is limited to issues with the plugin itself. Your question is specific to your site and setup and isn’t something I can replicate on our testing sites. While we can provide information to help you make your customizations, we cannot build your site for you.

    There is a section in the Themer’s Guide specific to customizing styles https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/#customizingstyles that may be of help. Have you tried using the different template settings? (Events > Settings > Events template) Or the stylesheets? (Events > Setttings > Default stylesheet used for events template) The Tribe Events Styles might have some value for you, but maybe give each of them a try to see what works best. Searching the forums may provide additional information too.

    If you need anything beyond that you’ll need to use the resources we’ve provided. Please let us know if you are still unclear on our limitations here or if you have other questions.

    Yeah, that looks to be an issue with the theme and not the Event Calendar plugin. Have you contacted the theme developer? And just for reference, we do have a Themer’s Guide (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/) and Documentation (http://docs.tri.be/) if that helps them track down the conflict.

    Looks like our forums mangled the tags I tried to include in the previous message. There was a non-breaking space included in it. Does it also happen if you disable the other plugins and revert to the default Twenty Twelve theme?
