thanks for your message. here are answers. I really love & appreciate this product and desperately want it to work well. Thanks for your help.1. EA should NOT be active for anything except gorgecurrent.com, not sure how it got activated for the master domain it’s under. gorgecurrent is an “addon” domain with my hosting plan. janellekoester is the head domain that I don’t even use for any website. bottom line is that gorgecurrent.janellekoester.com and gorgecurrent.com are the same thing, they point to the same site.
2. using https://www.facebook.com/pg/thepagename seems to import better than https://www.facebook.com/thepagename even though they point to the same FB page. seems like when you look at a page’s EVENTS listings you end up at the /pg/thepagename URL and that’s why I thought to try it.
3. well, that could be that it’s reporting errors when there is nothing. I’ll keep an eye on that & add to my ticket if I see otherwise. but thinking about it, I couldn’t import at all until I changed to facebook.com/pg/thepagename and then events DID import, so I guess the answer here is NO.
4. Another thing I didn’t report but that I often see is 504 Gateway errors when trying to edit several events at once (opening 3-5 events, each in a different tab, just for ease of use). I review each event & press publish and while waiting for the publish to complete, I review the next event in the next Tab and press publish. Eventually they time-out and I get the 504 error. I’ve contacted my host MANY times about this. They say it’s the event calendar plugins and that they are written to use too many resources (or something like that). I’ve optimized & cleaned my database but nothing helps. Like I said, gorgecurrent is an add-on domain and I have a couple other (extremely low traffic ) sites on the same server that never, ever show that error. So, for what that’s worth…

It does NOT help them run automatically. They still fail.
I’ve also tried removing the scheduled imports and setting them up again. That doesn’t fix auto-import either.
jskk123ParticipantI had the latest plugins when I reported this and now have updated to the newest versions. The same exact problem still occurs. You can use the login info I’ve provided to check it out. I’m sure you realize this is a royal pain for us that have the issue… thanks for your prompt attention.

jskk123ParticipantSometimes when I click on “edit” a scheduled import and click Preview, it gives this error (but not always)
“There was an error fetching the results from your import: There may be an issue with the Event Aggregator server. Please try your import again later.”jskk123ParticipantThis reply is private.
jskk123ParticipantYES! it worked for me. Scheduled items are auto-importing again. SO GLAD you were able to fix this relatively quickly.

jskk123ParticipantI agree w/everyone here. Super frustrating to wait weeks for fixes these days. Your plugins used to be spot-on and work every time OR on the rare occasion when they didn’t, fixes were speedy. Please update us on when this’ll be fixed.
jskk123ParticipantI deactivated all plugins & tried a couple different themes, Bridge theme & 2014. The plugins don’t make a difference. The only time it doesn’t work is when skeleton styles are selected with Bridge or 2014.
So I obviously have 2 issues – photo view w/skeleton styles and my EVENTICA theme. So once you guys fix, I’ll post a ticket with them. If you really need me to I can turn on debug, but it didn’t seem necessary. thanks!
jskk123ParticipantI have staging version of this site with the same theme & same other plugins, using The Events Calendar 4.4.2, TEC Pro 4.4.1 and TEC Community 4.4.1 and the photo view works there.
jskk123ParticipantIt’d be really great if you posted old versions of the plugins somewhere so it was easier to roll back. thanks.
jskk123ParticipantGeoff, can you make sure this is on the “to-do” list? I don’t see it oh the known issues.
jskk123Participantthis issue is still listed here – not even as “in progress” Contact me when it’s fixed.
jskk123ParticipantThe Facebook event links are always noted in the event details ON MY SITE, which is standard with your plugin Facebook import which is why I hadn’t included those links before.
