Hallelujah. Yes, that worked. You are brilliant. Thank you.

August 23, 2016 at 2:16 pm in reply to: community login redirects to today won't allow login or input #1155029jskk123ParticipantHUH? I don’t have an access control plugin! the screenshot and those options are from The Events Calendar Community Plugin! That’s your plugin that I purchased from you. To see these settings, make sure you have the community plugin (from theeventscalendar.com) installed, then look under Events/Settings/Community Events.
I look forward to your prompt response.

I am attaching screenshot of my settings – they have always been this way since I want to block subscribers from the WP dashboard.
if I UNBLOCK subscribers in Access control, they can THEN access the community event input form but they can ALSO access my dashboard, which doesn’t work for me. I believe this is a bug since the last release.please help as soon as you can, this is a critical issue for me. thanks

jskk123ParticipantI have this problem too and have watched it for a while, trying to gather info.
Here’s my config:
– latest plugins on all tribe sw: event cal 4.07, PRO 1.03, community 4.06, FB 4.0
– auto import every 12 hours
– imports go into “pending” and then are manually published
– using Bridge theme & WP 4.4.2
– other plugins are wordfence 6.0.24, WPBakery Visual composer 4.3.4, Updraft Plus 2.11.29.22, heartbeat control 1.03 (though this problem was happening before that was installed)Events that have been published then appear as duplicates in my “pending” list on the DAY of the event. Seemingly at the event start time and then the 2nd duplicate appears maybe 15-30 min later. This happens with EVERY imported event from 5 different FB pages. I don’t believe this is triggered by edits, because I cannot imagine they are all editing all of their events, all the time.
The first time an event is in pending list, it appears with “the-event-name” (like susie-smith-band) in the URL and the next 2 iterations in the pending list (both are there at the same time) have the same URL: “the-event-name-2”
This means I get each event in “pending” a total of 3 times.
jskk123Participantoops, just found that setting in the WP General settings area. Yay!
Will look forward to the fix when it comes. thanks.jskk123ParticipantThanks. It’s not a show-stopper but I am getting complaints from users. If it weren’t Saturday night, that would ease the situation.
Is it possible to show my week as Mon-Sun rather than Sun-Sat? I looked around and couldn’t find where to alter a setting for that. Can you tell me if I can & where to find? If I can switch to that for now, I’ll get fewer annoyed customers until there’s a fix. 🙂
jskk123ParticipantYou were right. it changes to tomorrow at 4pm here. I’m on zone UTC-8. At least that part is confirmed.
February 21, 2016 at 10:48 am in reply to: tribe_this_week shows changes to next week early #1079413jskk123Participantthis is still happening. I forgot to set an alarm so I noticed that it was 7pm Saturday when it had switched to Sunday. This next week I’ll set an alarm to check at 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, & 5pm. This reminds me of the same problem that existed with the monthly calendar in the past. the “highlighted” date used to switch to the next day several hours earlier than it was supposed to.
Bluehost says my servers are on UTC-7 timezone, if that helps you at all.February 17, 2016 at 12:43 pm in reply to: tribe_this_week shows changes to next week early #1074640jskk123ParticipantRE: the private issue, really the issue is weekly view events don’t say “Private:” ahead of the event item which freaks me out because i think “wait! those aren’t supposed to be on the calendar” in the other views, they say private. When i log out, they are gone completely so that’s all good. I just wish weekly view noted “private” in the title.
on reported issue: i’m in UTC-8, same zone as events. So, your theory won’t work on this. It was just after Saturday, 6pm my time (UTC-8) and showing the next week. Would it have anything to do with where i host? I’m with bluehost and who knows where their servers are.
