ParticipantHey,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Could you provide a little more detail about what you’re trying to accomplish? Unfortunately I don’t believe I’m fully understanding what you’re wanting to accomplish with these particular views.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Rhonda,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Unfortunately the views for our plugin aren’t associated with a page or post and there isn’t a way to accomplish it that way.
The template gets generated but should get placed within the main body of the template that gets selected within the Event Settings > Display tab “Events template” (https://cloudup.com/cLgEgCmRalA).
It appears that the template that your calendar is currently displayed on does not include the header. Have you tried all the available templates available there to see if there is one that displays as it should?
Thanks!

Since user role and capabilities are added to the database, it’s possible that even though the plugin has been deactivated and deleted the impact of changes made via the plugin could still be impacting on your site.
Do you have access to phpMyAdmin (or something like it) for the site? If so, you can check the usermeta table for the users with the access issue and compare to other admins with full access and see if there is anything strange for those users.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Maureen,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I notice that you have “upcoming-events” set as the slug for the main events views. We do have a separate issue regarding slugs with “-” in them that will be addressed in the next upcoming release which could possibly be the root of the issue here (although seems unrelated to the other issue).
As a test, can you try temporarily changing that slug to “happenings” (or something other than “upcoming” or “events” since both would likely conflict with existing pages or rewrites that get used within our plugin). After the slug has been changed, go to Settings > Permalinks and re-save the permalinks there.
Does doing the above all the main events page to show?
Thanks!
Josh

You can modify the template within your theme that gets used for the Calendar displays by navigating to the Event Settings > Display tab and selecting the full width template for your theme within the “Events Template” dropdown https://cloudup.com/cLgEgCmRalA

ParticipantHey Marina,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
If you need to modify it in certain instances, you could try using conditionals to only target the use within the post or within the shortcode. However, I’m not sure this would always be simple to differentiate between the default that you currently have and the new that you want to create.
It might be a little more complicated than what’s needed, but if what you’re wanting is different enough, it may be worth considering them as separate widgets and shortcodes. You could use the built in as a template for registering a new widget ( and then new shortcode) with the modified layout/options you need.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Dante,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
- It sounds like your calendar is pulling the mobile styles and js for the main view. Do you happen to have a link to your site that we could take a further look at this issue?
- I’m not sure this was something that was built into our plugin? Can you give me more detail/information about where the icons were displaying?
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Ryan,

Would you mind sending us the full link for the iCal feed that you’re trying to import so we can do some further testing in this case?
Thanks!
