Removing widget sidebar from events page

I’m moving from the Time.ly calendar to Events Calendar and have a basic question regarding the calendar’s “page.” Unlike Time.ly that uses a shortcode on a page I create, Events Calendar appears to create a “page slug” that is not listed as a page. Although this slug shows me the various page attributes I have with Spacious Pro, selecting a full-width page does not eliminate the widget sidebar.

Can you help get me started by pointing me to some general information regarding the setup of the events page attributes? I want a full width page without a sidebar. I also don’t see how to change the name of the page from “Archive” to “Events” or “Calendar.”

You can modify the template within your theme that gets used for the Calendar displays by navigating to the Event Settings > Display tab and selecting the full width template for your theme within the “Events Template” dropdown https://cloudup.com/cLgEgCmRalA
