ParticipantHey Jeff,
Thanks for testing that out for me. That at least helps us in ruling out one side of the equation.
I’ve been trying to do some additional tests here, as a help here:
- Is the global WordPress timezone on your site different from what is being used for these events?
- Can you also add your system information to a private reply here as well https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Erica,
The user will only need to add the link once. The feed generated with the “year-feed=1” portion added to the URL will be a year from today. So, every time events are fetched or updated from their calendar it will be 1 year from the day that it is fetching.
If a user adds the calendar today, it will fetch events all the way to December 2017. When the calendar fetches more events a month from now, it will pull events all the way to January 2018.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Mary,
Thanks for following up here!
When you’re logged in here on the site, go to https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/license-keys/. There you should see two license keys for Event Aggregator. If you add the one the one opposite the key you’ve just requested a refund for, your key will continue to work on your site once the refund is processed.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

As a starting point, try adding the following to your theme’s functions.php file to move the filters to below the title:
https://gist.github.com/BeardedGinger/b2eacbe5c0b218514788e5197ebd7956
From there you can do some CSS refinements to for the layout that you’re looking for.

ParticipantHey Chris,
Thanks for reaching out here! Would you mind opening a new thread for this particular request? This will allow us to answer all questions and each person fully within the thread. We’d be happy to help get you pointed in the right direction there.
Erica,
What Chris suggests here sounds like it would be the best solution for what you’re looking for here. Users can subscribe to the year-feed version of the webcal:// feed and they would get a full year of available events and would be “subscribed” to that feed within their calendar system.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Peter,
Thanks for testing that!
I would suggest reaching out to your hosting provider to see if they can help you out here. Let them know that front-end requests in WordPress for “admin-ajax.php” file are being blocked and requiring authentication. It may help to attach a screenshot of the actual authentication request there and they can help to get that sorted out for you.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Ben,
Thanks for following up.
Ah, that makes sense! In that case, yes you would need both the Pro plugin as well as the Event Aggregator to get what you’re looking for. The Event Aggregator for the Google Calendar side of things and then the Pro version of the plugin to get the additional views such as the Map view and Photo view.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Petit,
No problem! I’ve gone ahead and refunded your order. You should receive the funds back into your account within 5- 7 business days.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Peter,
Thanks for following up here.
I took a look at your site and see the issue here. It looks like the server is restricting access to “admin-ajax.php” file so the calendar isn’t able to complete the loading of the calendar when switching months.
However, the odd thing here is that the core plugin utilizes this same file so I’m curious if the issue still persists when deactivating the PRO plugin now? You mentioned that the issue started with the addition of the PRO plugin but I wonder if something else changed on your hosting side around the same time as the update?
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Niels,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Are you referring to a form that will allow site users to submit new events to your site from the front-end?
If so, it sounds like you’re looking for our Community Events plugin. This plugin adds a new section to the front-end of your site which lets your community create and manage events on your site all from the front-end.

ParticipantHey Ben,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
It sounds like you don’t need our PRO plugin but rather our Event Aggregator. This will allow you to set up a recurring import from your Google Calendar into your calendar on your website.
For the other portion “and shows a picture”, I’m not exactly sure what you’re referring to there. Would you mind elaborating a little more on what you’re looking for with that feature?
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Petit,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
To clarify here, you’d like to have just one license each for Events Calendar Pro and Event Aggregator? You intended to renew your existing licenses so that the two licenses would now expire in February 2018?
If so, there are a couple of option that we can pursue:
- We can refund the order and you can go through the renewal process at the current renewal rate
- We can cancel the new licenses and extend your current licenses to further than February 2018. Could do a quick calculation to see what made sense based on the renewal vs. new cost difference there.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Sacha,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
This is a really interesting idea, currently the creation of venues and organizers from the front-end is limited to their attachment to a specific event. This idea would be something we’d love to have on our UserVoice page to get more votes and interaction from the community for this feature.
Alternatively, though, do you have a regular form builder plugin that you use? Many of these plugins have addons that you can use to create new posts on the front-end of the site. You can use this feature to create those venues and organizers from the front-end.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
