    Hello Christian Kramer,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I took a look at the export and it appears that the address is being exported properly but you’re right that it isn’t being imported into the iCal properly. I’ve noted the issue for our developers to look into.

I’m sorry for the inconvenience. We’ll notify you when a fix for this issue is in the works or when a current workaround is determined.

    Thanks!

    Hello shreens,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I”m assuming this is in regards to setting up the default Venue within the calendar settings? Unfortunately what you’re describing isn’t currently available and would require some customization of the Calendar settings. However, this does sound like it could be a good feature for future development. If you would like, you can suggest this feature on our UserVoice page for consideration.

However, since you’re using Community events, by setting the default country as India you should see a text input field on the event submission form that your users will see rather than the state dropdown. Is that how it is functioning on your site?

    Thanks!

    Hello jimduncan,

    Thanks for following up!

Unfortunately, as of right now the best bet would be to manually delete the spam venues from your site. Ongoing, we are looking into ways to control Spam event creation for Community events. Until then, have you tried following the solution provided by Casey within this ticket. This will help to stop the post creation for the spam events and venues.

I’m sorry I wasn’t able to give you a direct response however I hope this was able to point you in the right direction.

    Thanks!

    Hello brandonpence,

Thanks for following up with us!

After spending a few moments on your site, I decided to retry on my local machine with a fresh install and fresh events. I was able to recreate the issue and this does appear to be a bug with the plugins.

I apologize for the inconvenience. I’ve logged the issue for our developers to see and they will look into a solution for this problem within an upcoming release.

Again, I apologize for the inconvenience. If you have any further questions that I can help you with please don’t hesitate to ask.

    Thanks!

    Hello refold,

To make sure we’re talking about the same link, this is the “Edit All” button that you’re clicking for recurring events? If so, when looking at the single view, you can delete and it should delete all occurrences of that recurring event. Are you able to get to the single view or is this where it does nothing?

The issue with bulk deletion sounds like you may have a hosting or other plugin conflict since this is a functionality built in with WordPress. By chance, have you had a chance to check out our Testing for Conflicts procedures to see if any of those steps resolve the issues you’re noticing on the backend of your site?

Finally, for clarification as well, are you using the latest version (3.7) of both our Event Calendar core plugin as well as the Pro version?

    Thanks!

    Hello dryvemarketing,

    Thanks for following up.

The key issue could also be caused by a conflict. Let me know if that issue persists after you do the testing for conflict procedures.

    Thanks!

    Hello refold,

Thanks for following up with us!

When pressing “Edit All” button ( I assume there are many recurring events that were created? ) does the browser just spin trying to load that event or does it not do anything at all?

One approach you could take to bulk edit from the admin would be to increase the number of posts that display within the admin table loop. You could increase it to 1,000 (or more) and then do the bulk delete. Here are some tips to help in increasing the number of posts displayed.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hello funinjerusalem,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I looked into this issue for you and one approach you could take to get what you’re looking for would be to leave the “Recurring event instances” option unchecked and then checking the option below to allow users to toggle display of recurring event instances.

You could then follow the Themer’s Guide to modify that view to automatically have that option selected on the front end of your site.

I’m sorry I wasn’t able to give you a direct response however I hope this was able to point you in the right direction.

    Thanks!

    Hello funinjerusalem,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

There is some very helpful information within this thread that should help you to get the order of events changed for your custom query. The approach at the bottom, where you set the basic query ( post type and number ) like you have above and then set the order of events using the “pre_get_posts” filter should work.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hello brainpop,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Try deleting The Events Calendar Pro from your and then re-install and activate via the admin. If there is still an activation issue, this approach may give us a generated response of why the plugin isn’t able to be activated.

Also, to be certain, can you verify that you’ve gone through the Testing for Conflicts procedures to ensure there isn’t a plugin or theme conflict?

    Thanks!
