    Hey Alexandra,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

It could be that the words you’re not seeing translated could be ones that we rely on WordPress to handle for translation. Within your WordPress General Settings page, would you mind temporarily changing the site language (https://cloudup.com/cd4SOuMUba7) to the language of your different translations? This will force the other translation files to be downloaded.

Let me know if this addresses the issue.

    Thanks!

    Hey,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

We actually have a couple of widgets that are available with the Pro version of our plugin. It sounds like you may currently be taking advantage of the “Events Calendar” widget. However, if you switch to the “Event List” widget, I believe you’ll find that it gives the layout that you’re looking for.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Anthony,

Thanks for reaching out to us! These are definitely some interesting issues to be having. A couple of quick questions regarding these:

    1. You say that the events are being reported as removed. Do you see events getting deleted? There could potentially be something going on here with recurring events and this setting https://cloudup.com/cOQ7QGQjgan. Recurring events could be getting created past this date and they may be getting subsequently deleted.
    2. It looks like this is due to the amount of content within the tooltip and this additional markup being added to the bottom of the tooltip content https://cloudup.com/cFoEaOLUKlq. You could bypass this though by increasing the z-index value of the tooltip so that it displays above the header of your site.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Karen,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I’m not sure I’m following your question. We do have 2 options within our settings in reference to the creation and deletion of recurring events (https://cloudup.com/cCMyF9QeElr). The first option allows your recurring events to be automatically deleted after the timeframe that you set for the option passes.

The second option allows you to limit how many months into the future recurring events can be created for. So, if you set this to 4 months, recurring events won’t be created for a year out even if they are set to recur for an entire year.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Paul,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Were you able to get this issue resolved? I took a look at your site and tried accessing the events in several different ways and was unable to see the photo view with the extra white space on your site.

When you see the issue, are you accessing the page directly or is there a link that you’re using somewhere else on the site to access the main events page?

    Thanks!

    Hey Louise,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

This definitely sounds like a strange issue to be having. To clarify, after importing from Eventbrite into WordPress, the special characters get changed in Eventbrite (for the event title at Eventbrite.com not the title within WordPress dashboard)?

    1. We have a great tutorial to help with this here https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-the-eventbrite-tickets-box/
    2. This is strange. Have you verified that the map is set to display on the event as well as the venue? If not, are there any javascript errors that reference the map when using the developer tools within your browser?
    3. This is strange, does the issue persist when switching to a default theme?

    Thanks!

    Hey,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

The first step I would try would be to have the rewrite rules flushed by going to your Settings > Permalinks section of your dashboard and re-saving the existing permalinks settings.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Cat,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

It sounds like there is a javascript conflict at play here. We are limited in the amount of support we are able to provide for theme conflicts. However, if you’re able to provide a link to the site I can take a look at the error and see if there is a simple fix for the problem.

    Thanks!

    Hey Luke,

Thanks for reaching out to us. You’ve got the coolest Gravatar I’ve seen in a while.

Looking at the difference between the two screenshots, it looks like your theme (parent theme or child theme) might have already had an overwrite template for the single-events.php file. Check your themes to ensure there wasn’t already a “tribe-events” folder with that file in it.

If so, you can take the customized file and take the:

    <?php echo tribe_event_featured_image($event_id, ‘full’, false); ?>

    Line out of that file.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Karolina,

That’s definitely an understandable concern. I’ll reach out to our developers to see if there is a way that we can allow for users to upload completed files rather than just modifying directly on the site.

    Thanks!

    Hey,

Does the recaptcha issue persist even if you switch back to the using the default edit-event.php file? It doesn’t look like the change you’ve made would be causing the issue you’re now seeing.

If that’s the case, try following the Testing for Conflicts procedures to see if there is a conflict occurring somewhere else on the site.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey,

Thanks for the clarification. Would you mind submitting a gist.github.com of your customized edit-event.php file?

    Hey Winston,

Thanks for providing the previous information. Can you actually send a screenshot like https://cloudup.com/cv6ypzKsgM2 with the filled out information for the app? The information provided above doesn’t include the links that will help me diagnose what may be occurring.

    Thanks!
