ParticipantHey,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
It looks like you’re using a very outdated version of our PRO plugin. You can try deactivating PRO to see if the Core plugin continues to work.
We’re currently on version 3.11 of PRO and the latest version of the plugin is the only one that we can guarantee is compatible with the latest version of the core calendar. There have been some very significant updates to the codebase since version 2.0.11 and that version will not work with the latest version of our core plugin.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
This sounds like an interesting suggestion, we’d love to have it added to our UserVoice page for some community input/discussion.
One thing that does come to mind to me though, since the content for recurring events is always identical, wouldn’t you also need to be worried about all the duplicated content for those indexed pages?
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Stephan,
No problem. Sorry I wasn’t able to find a complete solution for you on this one.
I’ll go ahead and close this thread for now. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to open a new thread.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Winston,
Thanks for providing the additional screenshots. A couple of things to try/verify here:
- Try creating a new app on Eventbrite.com with the corrected information. Then take those app credentials to the settings within your WordPress dashboard. Be sure to save the new settings before clicking “Get Authorization”
- If that doesn’t work, would you mind sending the System Information that can be found within the Events Settings > Help tab and pasting it here as a private reply?
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Corrado,
Thanks for verifying.
I’ve created an internal bug ticket for this issue and added this thread to that ticket. You’ll be notified here as we make progress on this issue.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Jake,
No problem. I’ll leave this ticket open for a little in case the issue does return.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Karen,
Would you mind sending us a private reply with the System Information that can be found at the bottom of the Events Settings > Help tab.
Also, when creating events that “never” end. The events will get created in advance for the number of months set within the setting we previously discussed. When created, a cron job is set up (tribe-recurrence-cron) to run daily to check whether or not (a) new instances of a recurring event need to be created (b) or if older events need to be deleted. You can delete this cron job if you would like using a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-crontrol/.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

I’m glad you were able to find a resolution to this issue!

ParticipantHey Cindy,
If you’re able, you can send a download link via a service such as Dropbox or Google Drive. There are free versions of both of those services to handle file and document storage.
Out of curiosity, if you type in the titles that include “‘” directly into the template, do you get the same issue with the characters on your site?
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Jacob,
Awesome! Glad that helped.
The community page slug changed with the latest update to be translatable based on the language of the site. You can find the community pages by hovering over the “Events” title within your admin bar and clicking on the Community links there https://cloudup.com/cQ8HgpyycUm.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Stephan,
Yeah, unfortunately that plugin won’t work as-is for the specific functionality you’re looking for. I suggested it since it looked like it could be a great starting point for figuring out how to get the customization you would like.
Since it does impact price based on the category of the products, you could use some of the code within the plugin as a starting point for adding the transaction fee rather than applying a discount.
I know its not a direct answer or a solution, but it should help to get you pointed in the right direction for the customization.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Arina,
That should be doable. It sounds like your default style would be for “busy” and you would then have a custom style for those times/days that are “free”?
I can verify with our developers but currently I don’t believe the vFREEBUSY gets imported. There really isn’t anything to attach that piece of information to at this point.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Corrado,
I did some further testing and was able to verify that there was some strange behavior with filters when the Advanced Post Manager plugin was activated. Can you verify that you’re using that plugin when getting this issues?
Thanks!
