ParticipantHey Helle,
Thanks for reeaching out to us!
There may have been a temporary server issue on our end that could have caused these errors for you when attempting to preview those imports. Is this still happening for you on your site? If so, would you mind sending over a link to one of the Facebook pages that you were having issues with importing and I can run some further tests for you here.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Jeff,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I’m sorry to see you’re having issues with the plugin and the Eventbrite iFrame here. As a first step here, can you verify that the timezone on the event within your WordPress settings matches the timezone on the event within the Eventbrite settings? It’s possible that these could be off and causing the issue you’re describing here.
Thanks!
Josh

ParticipantHey Allen,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Great to see your site! I’m originally from Wilmington and have a lot of family still in the area.
I’d be glad to help look into these issues further to see if there is a structural issue with the recurring events or to help diagnose a bug in our plugin that we can address and release a fix for. To do this, would you mind sending a screenshot of the recurrence settings used when you’ve experienced these issues? I’ll use that to try and recreate the issues.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Maurizio,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Would you mind giving more detail in what you’re trying to accomplish here? I would have to do a little research to see if I can help to get you pointed in the right direction for something like this, however before we start down that path, how do you picture something like this functioning?
Would you be overriding the quick month navigation provided by the current datepicker there?
If so, when someone searches a set day there, what should be displayed in the month view?
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Maurizio,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Sure thing! You can accomplish this by following our Themer’s Guide to copy the src > views > month > single-event.php file into your theme and remove the ‘a’ tag wrapping the title in the template there.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Frederic,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Unfortunately, at this time, the category option on the shortcodes isn’t fully functioning. We do have it in current development and will be releasing a fix for this issue soon.
I’ve added this thread to our internal ticket for tracking this issue and you’ll be notified here as we make progress on this one.
I apologize for the inconvenience here, if you have any questions or concerns about the process please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Daan,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Sure thing! You can modify the map language using the modified URL using the “tribe_events_google_map_link” filter.
I’m not sure if this would be 100% exactly what you’re looking for here but this would be an example of how to extend that link here:

ParticipantHey Pieter,
No problem, I’ll let you know what I hear back from our team.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Werner,
I’ve tested this on my local install using the Event Calendar and Event List widget but wasn’t able to replicate the issue and the times there respected the WP format.
I would suggest following the Testing for Conflicts procedures here to see if there is a conflict with another plugin or theme. I would also be happy to review your System Information to see if there is something there that might be causing an issue and could be associated with something we could address.
However, to properly set expectations here, I’m limited here to helping to see if there is a bug in our plugin that we can address. I’m not able to provide support for this particular issue and helping to resolve it here in our Translations forum. If you have an account here, I would welcome you to open a thread in one of our premium forums for additional support.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Jack,
Thanks for following up here!
As long as your content is still displaying there, I’d say this looks great! I apologize for the issue with the previous snippet there.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Kate,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Try using the format “http://www.wildandwoollyshop.co.uk/events/?ical=1” when importing and see if that works for you here. I just tested on my local install and was able to see the events available for import using that URL.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
November 14, 2016 at 6:19 pm in reply to: Event Aggregator not adding new events, not deleting source-deleted events, etc. #1192217Josh
ParticipantHey Heather,
- I’ve tested this a few times myself and have been able to verify the issue you’re describing here. On-Demand imports don’t seem to be updating with the new events created at the source calendar. I’m creating an internal bug ticket for tracking this issue and you will be notified here as we make progress on this one.
- I reached out to our team on this one and got clarification on this feature. The “Smart Sync” here won’t be able to track deleted events from the source calendar. ICS files don’t have a signifier to state that an event has been “deleted”. It would just be missing from the file. For us, and the plugin, it would lead to a lot of unintended consequences if we deleted events from the calendar just because they weren’t available in an ICS file.
There is however a tag for events in ICS feeds that let you know that an event has been “Cancelled”. Our plugin doesn’t yet have a process for handling those types of events at this time but it would be something we could add down the line since it is supported in the files.
- Has the scheduled import continued to stay that far behind the import schedule? I’ve had a test import scheduled on my local install but I haven’t noticed long delays outside of the scheduled import interval such as the 5 hours in your screenshot.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Pieter,
I’ve imported your October calendar into my site to test directly but couldn’t replicate the issue there. However, looking at your system information it looks like you are on the latest version of our plugins, latest version of WP, a default theme and have the other plugins deactivated.
I’m escalating this issue to one of our other team members to see if there is something else that I might be missing here and see if there is anything that they’re aware of that might be causing this particular issue on your site.
I apologize for the inconvenience of this particular issue and hopefully we can get to the bottom of what’s happening here quickly.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Werner,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Check out this tutorial that we have for modifying the time format used for your calendar https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-the-time-format/.
