ParticipantHey Cameron, I just wanted to check in to see if you’ve had a chance to try out Tim’s suggestion? Please let us know.
Thanks,
– JonahJonah
ParticipantHi Tine,
The problem is that your theme is applying a 600px width to hr elements. You can solve this easily by adding the following to your themes style.css file:
.tribe-events-calendar hr {
width: auto;
}
I hope that helps and let me know if you need anything else.– Jonah

ParticipantHi onelittlemoose,
Unfortunately we do not have either of these features. The first feature would be fairly easily achieved by filtering the body class function (which you’re going to have to do anyway) and adding a condition to populate the category slug when on a single event.
As for the permalink structure, other’s have brought this up as well and we do have plans to improve this in a future release but there is no solution as of now.
I hope that helps and sorry I don’t have more to offer here.

ParticipantHi canadianbrass,
Ok, so it sounds like you’ve worked out the data issue and that it might have been caused by something on your part to begin with? I’m going to go ahead and close this one out unless you post back here saying you still need help within the next day or so.
Cheers,

ParticipantHi Michael,
By remotely I mean you’re not working on some development version of your website that is only available to you locally. It sounds like probably not… Ok, can you shoot me wp-admin access to your website so I can hop in and take a look at some things? Do I have your permission to deactivate plugins and/or switch the theme? Please email access to pro [at] tri [dot] be, attn. to me and reference this thread.
Thanks,
JonahJonah
ParticipantYou’re welcome Tom, I’m glad that worked for you. Let us know if there’s anything else you need help with.

ParticipantHi Tom, thanks for the suggestion. We may at some point add this feature to our plugin but I think you can already do this with the Duplicate Post plugin:http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/duplicate-post/
Does that help?

ParticipantHi Michael,
You can achieve exactly this with our Community Events plugin: https://theeventscalendar.com/wordpress-community-events/
Does that look like it will work for you?

ParticipantHey David,
There are javascript errors on your site and they appear to be related to your theme, not our plugin. The recent jQuery update probably “broke” a lot of themes and plugins and your theme may not have been updated yet. The way I know it’s probably your theme is by looking at the source of the files where the error is occurring. Look at the file path for the first error on the right: http://cl.ly/image/2N3C2f3k1o3p – that’s pointing right at your theme and it’s the same error that was affecting our plugin before we updated it. There is no error showing up here that’s related to our plugin. I suggest contacting the theme author about the issue or looking to see if there’s a theme update that may already be out to fix the issue.
Good luck!

ParticipantHi clubbingpriest,
Things are limited in this domain right now unless you can custom code what you’re wanting. We do have a new version coming out in the next month or two that will feature much improved filering of this sort so you might just want to wait for that.
Cheers,

ParticipantHey onelittlemoose,
This should already be in place for you. The body class for a category should be showing up as ‘events-category-CATEGORYNAME’. Is it not? If not you might need to update Thematic or play around with the body class function to get the event categories in there yourself.

ParticipantHi Don,
Very strange. I’m still not seeing this on my end with what I think are the same parameters as you’re working with. Can you please provide me with wp-admin access so I can take a look? You can email access to pro [at] tri [dot] be and attn. to me. Do I have permission to deactivate plugins and change settings? I’m going to need to do that to try and troubleshoot and reproduce the issue.
Thanks,
JonahJonah
ParticipantHi cintia,
Did you try styling it with CSS? You should be able to get it looking however you want…
We are definitely talking about opening up a more official customization resource for people here on the site. But for now, we don’t have much. I’d help you but I’m too busy with other work right now…
Sorry I can’t offer up more here.

ParticipantHi Mike,
Sorry about the delay in getting back to you on this. What a coincidence! I happen to be developing a custom website right now with the same theme! I was able to get the menu working by selecting the ‘Default Page Template’ in Events > Settings > Template. It sounds like you’ve tried this already right? I’m also running a newer version of Deliciuex – v1.0.5 so maybe updating will help you. Also, make sure you select the menu in the theme location here: http://cl.ly/image/2f2x26373b2o
Does that help?
