ParticipantHi Suzanne,
Our apologies. This isn’t the intended behavior, its a bug that seems to have emerged with a recent code change we made and we appreciate her bringing it to our attention. We’ve disabled private replies for now as we look into the issue and in the interim can you please email the login details to pro/a/ tri.be, which we ensure you is secure.
Very sorry for the inconvenience and know that our commitment to security is 100%, and now that this is on the radar it’s a high priority to fix.
Please also be aware that the private replies feature is a third-party plugin, not our own code.
As soon as we get the login credentials, I’ll be able to look into this further.
Regards,
JonahJonah
ParticipantHey Ben,
Thanks for providing your login credentials. I’ve tried a couple things and nothing seems to be working. Can you please try disabling CloudFlare to see if that works?

ParticipantHi Amy,
That’s awesome to hear! Glad that worked for you. Let us know if you need help with anything else.

ParticipantHi kduncan773,
This is basically the same thing. So what you’ll need to do is similar to what is outlined in the FAQ above. Here is an example using your code: http://snippi.com/s/ddcbp92 – you can use the FAQ above and these conditional wrappers to help you code the title for all the other pages: https://gist.github.com/jo-snips/2415009
I hope that helps!

ParticipantHi Jonah,
Yes, I do see that but that would be the default behavior unless you coded the category links to pick up the current month from the query vars and append the current month to the category links so that clicking them keeps you on that month and not back to the current month today. Make sense? If you install Debug Bar + Debug Bar Extended, you’ll be able to load the page and then see all the query vars like I’m taking about which will give you access to the current month and allow you to change the date somehow. But that’s getting into more customization than we can really help you with. Hopefully that points you in the right directions though.
Cheers,

ParticipantHi Lauren,
Do you have a link we can check out? Have you tried deactivating all other plugins to rule out any conflict there?

ParticipantHi flamsteedas,
Very sorry that I didn’t restore everything, I thought I had but sometimes restoring widgets is funky when switching themes. We are now officially working on a fix for this to release in 3.0.2 which should be coming out very soon. Please wait for that and this should resolve your issues. Let me know if not.

ParticipantHi calebingersoll,
Unfortunately this field is no longer available in 3.0. My suggestion would be to use something like http://www.advancedcustomfields.com/ to setup a custom price field for your events and then modify the template files to display that value. I hope that helps but let me know if you have any questions.

ParticipantHi Bobby,
My suggestion would be to try updating to the 3.0 version of all the plugins to see if this helps. If possible, do it in a development environment as there are lots of changes in 3.0 and it would be good to review all the changes in a test environment first before you deploy the changes on the live site. Let me know how that goes.

ParticipantHi opscode,
Do you have some examples I can look at and test myself? Have you tried deactivating all other plugins to see if there’s maybe another plugin conflicting with any of this?

ParticipantHi bisdigital,
I’m not sure myself why UK cities are not shown in this box. I’m asking one of developers to elaborate and will get you an answer in the next day or two.

ParticipantHi kevinvisionfriendlycom,
Sorry to hear about the troubles here. Can you please try deactivating all other plugins to see if there is a conflict there?
Thanks,
JonahJonah
ParticipantHi Gavin,
I don’t know how to do this myself but am asking one of our developers how to do it. Stay tuned and I should be able to get you an answer in the next day or two.

ParticipantHi blogjunkie,
Try something like this: http://dd32.id.au/2011/03/01/disable-plugin-update-notification-for-a-specific-plugin-in-wordpress-3-1/ – you would put that in the events-calendar-pro.php and the-events-calendar.php files.
I hope that helps but let me know if you need anything else!

July 11, 2013 at 9:35 am in reply to: V3 Tutorial: HOW TO CUSTOMIZE YOUR RSS FEED is it for version 3 and WP 3.5.2? #54535Jonah
ParticipantHi Cynthia,
It appears that this code is not working any more. We did test it during 3.0 development but something must have changed along the way, preventing it from working. I’ve created a ticket to have one of our devs take a look and we’ll get this revised ASAP.
Thanks,
Jonah -
