ParticipantHi Marco,
This is not intended but not really a bug either. It’s something you or WooThemes will need to modify in order to add an additional check for the events page(s) to prevent the slider form showing. You can use the following conditional to check for the various event related pages: https://gist.github.com/jo-snips/2415009
I hope that helps but let me know if you have any other questions.

ParticipantHi kinichb,
Sorry about the issue here. We are aware of this bug and will be fixing it in the next release coming out very soon. Do you have PRO and the core plugin installed and activated? Please also try activating PRO and then recreating the event or saving the existing event and that might correct things.

ParticipantHi estimley,
It looks like you are still running the older version of the plugin. Did you update PRO and core to 3.x?

ParticipantHi Jason,
I see the problem now. This is a known bug/limitation and will be fixed in 3.0.3. Unfortunately there’s not much you can do in the interim. Just hang tight and we’ll get this fixed ASAP.

ParticipantYou’re welcome Derek. Are you all set here then? Can I close this thread out?

ParticipantHi univiz,
Ok, gotcha. I’m not sure, I don’t handle refunds. Good luck with the other plugin!
Cheers,

ParticipantHi Ben,
Ok, I’m going to need to escalate this because I’m not sure what else to try. Stay tuned for an update in the next day but you might need to wait until Monday since we don’t work on the weekend.
@Tom, I see a bunch of script errors on the page that is likely causing issues here. Please try deactivating all other plugins and/or switching to the default WordPress theme to see if this helps. Let me know how that goes.

ParticipantHi kevinvisionfriendlycom,
Can you please privately post wp-admin credentials here so I can take a look? Do I have permission to deactivate all plugins myself?
Thanks,
JonahJonah
ParticipantHi univiz,
3.0 was released last week and now has this functionality. Have you updated yet?
Jonah
ParticipantHi dorimedia,
I see two script errors on the widgets page when I try to load it. Can you please try deactivating all other plugins to see if this helps? There is likely a conflict with another one of your plugins.
Thanks,
JonahJonah
ParticipantYou’re welcome blogjunkie, let us know if there’s anything else you need help with.

July 12, 2013 at 9:02 am in reply to: Event has not been imported but it says event already exists #54735Jonah
ParticipantHi siamack,
Are you sure this event is not in your Drafts or Trash folder? What is the name of the event?

ParticipantHi opscode,
Can you provide some more details related to a specific event that you are seeing being overwritten? I successfully imported this event (http://www.opscode.com/blog/event/2-day-chef-fundamentals-austin/) and eveyrthing seemed to match up with what I saw on Eventbrite so I’m not sure what exactly the problem is here.

Participant@yvrmark – I understand your frustration with the update, however I do want to point your attention to the forum post we made regarding the update: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/release-the-events-calendar-3-0/ – we were explicit in that this is a HUGE release and there were many things changed and we suggested the appropriate measures to take before updating.
We’re happy to help with whatever we can, but in this case without admin credentials there’s not much more we can do to help. If you’ll reconsider, please email to pro/a/tri.be.
Regards,
