Disable update nag to TEC 3.x

I heavily customized TEC for a site: http://www.businesscircle.com.my/events/

Now that 3.0 is out I tried upgrading on a staging site. All my customizations are pretty much lost – boo: http://bc-staging.pemandu.webfactional.com/events/

I’ve decided that I’ll leave the site on TEC 2.x and only upgrade to 3.x when we do a revamp next. In the meantime, I want to disable the update nag for TEC and TEC Pro – is there any way I can do that?

Hi blogjunkie,

Try something like this: http://dd32.id.au/2011/03/01/disable-plugin-update-notification-for-a-specific-plugin-in-wordpress-3-1/ – you would put that in the events-calendar-pro.php and the-events-calendar.php files.
