    Hi Marcus!

    I actually have some pretty awesome news for you.

    The crummy news first. There is some confusion we’ve seen with how our notifications and icons are displayed currently with our Event Aggregator service.

    The good news however, is that in most cases, Event Aggregator is working just fine, but it makes it appear as if it is not importing at all by displaying those various “Import Failed” notifications that you see.  For example, in one of your screen shots (which are awesome by the way!) – you can see that 1 event was successfully updated, even though the notification message claims the import has failed (which is not a correct message).

    To help paint the picture a bit better, if you see an “Import Failed” message of some sort, chances are the import actually just got rescheduled which can be dependent on a variety of circumstances such as a little burp in your hosting when running the scheduled import, in Facebook and/or other import origins, how many requests we receive at that exact time, etc.

    I’m unable to provide exact timelines on when fixes will be released, but I can say that we are working on adjusting this right now and hope to have it released very soon.

    Hello!

    It definitely looks to be a caching issue still on that page. Looking with Chrome’s Inspector tools, I’m seeing caching errors/conflicts going on.  I do see some events in the List view, but other elements should be functioning that currently are not.

    I’d give a shout out to CloudFlare’s support to see if they can help you write a new set of rules to exclude the main /events* page as well as /event* pages as well.

    There is a chance though that the cache just needs to be cleared out in other areas of CloudFlare as well.

    Here is what I’m seeing currently:

    Thank you for pointing me to your account. I was able to locate the prior licenses that expired last August.

    We recently ended those types of renewal discounts that you had mentioned and seen in the past.

    The Ultimate Bundle would be your best bet and is currently 25% off, which is only 5% less than what your renewal costs would have been last year.  I’d love to be able to help you get a higher discount, but unfortunately, that’s the best I’m able to share with you right now.

    You are correct with that thought.  Event Aggregator does a ton of awesome things, but that limitation does currently exist where only a single URL is able to be imported and/or scheduled at a time.

    Great to hear you’re giving The Events Calendar a solid test run. 🙂

    We’re a bit limited with how much support we can provide for our free version, especially in our Pre-Sales forum.

    What I can tell you though is that is sounds like you just need to head over to Events > Settings > Display > Events Template and change that to “Default Events Template” – this will likely help override any theme issues that may be shrinking that calendar up as you mentioned.

    Hi Mary!

    That is no fun at all!

    Let’s see if we can help you get this working so you can begin using Event Aggregator. 🙂  The good news is that I just tested your license key and was able to validate without issue. Now it’s just a matter of digging in and trying to see what you might be running into.

    The first thing I would try is this:

    • Remove your license key and click save
    • Add your license key back in, let it try and validate and then click save again.

    Our validation server may have had a little hiccup at the time you added the license key in.

    If you have no luck there, my next thought would be to see if you have any security plugins installed that are preventing outbound communication from your website elsewhere, such as to our validation server.

    If you do not have any such plugins installed, please reach out to your hosting provider to see if they have any security that would be doing the same thing. Its very possible that your hosting provider can help ensure the communication is not tampered with on their end.

    It sounds like you may have a conflict going on somewhere. Possibly a JS conflict with either your theme or another plugin.

    For that particular tooltip hover view on the main calendar, you do not need Events Calendar PRO.  PRO does add in special (and awesome) recurring events that also carry it’s own set of tooltips elsewhere in event lists.

    Hi there!

    That is definitely something I’d like to help you resolve.

    I visited the page and it looks like you might have a caching plugin in use that might be conflicting and caching the Events page, which might be the source of the issue.

    If you do have caching, please give a shot to configuring the caching plugin with an exclusion rule to not cache the event’s pages. Then clear your cache and give it another shot to see if the calendar displays correctly.

    While you’re giving a shot to the above idea (if it applies), you’re also welcome to send me your System Information as a Private Reply so I can see if there is anything that looks to be a potential cause. You can find this information by logging into your website, navigating to Events > Help (scroll down a bit and you’ll see the System Info section).

    It’s also worth while to test for any plugin conflicts in case there is a JS conflict going on somewhere or some other underlying issue that may be occurring.

    That’s awesome to hear the past issues were resolved!

    I’m having trouble locating your account. Do you still have access to your prior account that you can send me via a Private Reply?

    It’s okay if you are unable to access your past account.  My advice is to not worry about renewing Facebook Importer or iCal Importer.  The reason being is that those two plugins have been retired and merged into our new Event Aggregator.  With Event Aggregator, you get so much more packed into the service and you don’t lose anything that was included with the two separate importer plugins.

    You are also welcome to purchase only the Ultimate Bundle, to which you’d receive a plethora of awesome plugins and as I’m sure you already know, you’d be looking pretty stellar with a rock-star calendar setup.
