I assume this did the trick? Glad to hear if so! I’ll go ahead and close out this thread, but if you have any more questions, feel free to open a new thread. Thanks again for choosing PRO!

    Ventrice,

Thanks for your patience. To help me better understand, can you please tell me which of the two options you have selected under Events > Settings > General > Timezone Settings > Timezone Mode and if you have the “Show Timezone” box checked?

Next, which timezone do you currently have selected under your WordPress Settings > General > Timezone? Lastly, which timezone did you have selected before you pressed the settings button that updated the event time zones to GMT instead of EST?

Let me know and I’ll continue troubleshooting the issue and we’ll get it resolved!

    Ventrice,

Thanks for choosing PRO! I believe you should be able to update the timezone settings as desired and save changes without losing any event data. I strongly recommend making a backup before doing so just to make sure you have it in case anything goes wrong. Let me know it goes!

    Hey Arsen,

After doing a little research, my first recommendation would be to visit the Events > Import > Import Settings tab and hit the save button (you don’t need to change anything). Once you’ve done that, try importing an event one at a time and see if the problem still occurs. If it does, please reply back as private with your system information (Events > Settings > Help) and we’ll keep on troubleshooting. Thanks for choosing PRO and I look forward to hearing back!

    Daniel,

I hope you had a wonderful New Years Day! We have seen a similar issue in a previous version of Filter Bar. Can you provide the exact version number of The Events Calendar, Events Calendar Pro, and Filter Bar you are currently using?

    Hey Martin,

We do have a few articles in our Knowledgebase in regards to theme and plugin conflicts, but based on what you’re telling me it might be best to run through the Testing for Conflicts article in detail. I understand reverting back to the default WP theme and narrowing down the problem can be tedious and frankly annoying, but unfortunately it is out of our scope of support to actually do this for you… all we can do is try and help point you in the right direction.

There are many different reasons as to why you’re experiencing the permalink issues, from your hosting environment, current theme, active plugins, caching, and the list goes on. Did you try waiting a few minutes after updating your Events URL and Single event URL slugs under Events > Settings > General and flushing your permalinks under your WordPress Settings >Permalinks?

Lastly, did you read over the Fixing HTTP 404 errors article I posted earlier? Please try everything I’ve recommended and let me know how it works out.

    Martin,

Thanks for getting back to me. I just got done testing on my local dev environment using the latest versions of The Events Calendar, Events Calendar PRO, WordPress, and the Twenty Sixteen theme with the slug settings as follows:

    Events URL: upcoming-shows

    Single Event URL: upcoming-show

I flushed my permalinks. Next I checked my upcoming-shows page and single events pages – both displayed as desired without returning any 404s. An idea worth trying is to give it a minute after saving changes for your permalinks to update. If that doesn’t work, you will need to troubleshoot by following the advice I posted above as I was unable to recreate the issue.

Keep me posted on the progress of your situation and thanks for your patience!

    Gwyneth,

I apologize for the frustration you’re experiencing. I just tried to replicate the problem again on my local test environment using the latest versions of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO, WordPress, and the Twenty Sixteen theme with the slug settings as:

    Events url slug = eft-training

Single event url slub = eft-courses

I flushed the permalinks. I then tested to see if the single event pages were displaying 404s. They indeed did show a 404. I waited a few more moments and tried again and they worked as desired. Based on my findings, you may need to give your permalinks a minute or two to update. Your next step would unfortunately be to deactivate all active plugins other than The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO and reverting back to the default WP theme.

Please let me know if either step works. Thanks again for being patient and we look forward to getting this resolved.

    Aleix,

Apologies for not finding this article sooner: Month View displays in mobile view incorrectly. Try it out and let me know if it solves your calendar display issue.

    Aleix,

My apologies for seeming redundant. I understand you reverted back to the default WP theme and the calendar displays correctly. Have you tried deactivating other plugins while the Ronneby theme is active? If so, does the calendar display properly?

Additionally, did you follow the proper folder structure posted above when attempting your template overrides? In order for your template overrides to work properly, you need to copy the month.php template from plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views folder and make any changes on the new month.php file in your theme folder (theme-name/tribe-events/views).

If you have a caching plugin installed and activated, this could possibly cause issues with the calendar. Unfortunately, it seems like this error is a conflict with your theme which is out of our scope of support. Have you tried contacting them in regards to the issue? They might have a better solution. Keep me posted on your progress and good luck!

    Daniel,

Thanks for getting back to me. I’m unfortunately unable to acquire credentials, so please refrain from sending those over. I turned on debug on my test dev environment and am not seeing the issues you’re describing. Have you tried reverting back reverting back to the default WP theme and deactivating your plugins? Start there and let me know how it goes.

    Daniel,

Thanks for choosing Events Calendar Pro! We hope you’re having a geat holiday season. I just tested the calendar on the site associated with your account and didn’t run into the issue you described. I was able to filter events by day. Have you tried to see if the issue occurs when you’re both logged in and logged out? If you have a caching plugin, that could also cause issues with the Filter Bar if not set up properly.

Let me know what you find and if the issue is still occurring so we can further investigate. Thanks again for choosing PRO and have a wonderful rest of the holidays!

    Martin,

I just responded to Gwyneth with a similar answer:

What do you have in your “Events URL slug” and “Single event URL slug” fields found under Events > Settings > General?

Have you tried reverting to the default WP theme and deactivating all plugins? Here are a few things you can troubleshoot that may be causing the issue.

Another article relative to 404 errors worth taking a look at can be found here.

Additionally, the issue you and Gwyneth are experiencing may be caused by different variables even though they have similar outcomes. Every environment is different. But run through those articles and let me know if either does the trick. If it appears the issue is on our end, I’ll get someone from our dev team involved. Thanks for your patience and let me know how things go.
