Hi again Mark,
I’ve confirmed that this is happening on our current stable release, so I will report this as a bug in our tickets tracker and it should be solved in one of the next few versions, I think on the version 4.0.
Sorry if I can’t solve this right now for you, since this is not a simple problem.
My Best Regards,
Gustavo BordoniKeymasterHi Jeff,
Thanks for reaching out to us, and thanks for effort on trying to do this, we love when users try to solve this kind of problems and share their code.
Unfortunately this is a big change that I cannot solve for you here on the forums since it’s a big feature request you can go to our User Voice and suggest it there. If you find the solution and want to share we would be very grateful.
Again, sorry about that, I wish I could help you further on this one.
My Best Regards,

Gustavo BordoniKeymasterHi Ducan,
Thanks for reaching out to us, but unfortunately that isn’t a simple feature, although it’s possible do it.
I can point you in the right direction but I cannot do it for you, since it’s a big thing, you might want to hire a developer to create this feature for you.
I just want to know, you want theses changes happen on the admin or on the front-end filter bar? I need to know that so I can give you some information on how to proceed.

Thanks for reaching out to us.
Which plugins are you talking about so that I can see what is really happening, since this might be a bug I would like to try to debug to see why.
My Best Regards,
Gustavo BordoniKeymasterHi Marcus,
Thanks for reaching out to us but I’m very sorry to say that we currently don’t allow this kind of behavior inside of our tickets system.
You can try to solve this issue with other WooCommerce plugins and variable products, but I don’t have a full solution to point to you.
I can safely say that this is something that we are currently working on, so In the near future you will see that feature.
Sorry about that again, My Best Regards.
Gustavo BordoniKeymasterHi Catherine,
I’ve understood you issue and created a snippet that should solve it.
Please can you try to change the tooltip.php file to the one below, and add the following line to your functions.php file?
https://gist.github.com/bordoni/439bd58bbfbb7db3454b
I hope this solves your problem, if not please don’t hesitate to reply here.
My best Regards,
Gustavo BordoniKeymasterHi Kevin,
So to accomplish that you can follow this tutorial on how to add a sidebar to your site, which is the widget area that you mentioned.
Judging by the code you sent me, you should add the “Step 3” of the tutorial I’ve sent you to the file sidebar-general.php. What you should do is wrap that code with a conditional like is_category to check if you are inside of the archive for that given category.
Don’t hesitate to reply if this didn’t solve your issue.
My Best Regards,
Gustavo BordoniKeymasterThanks for your answer man, I’m very glad that that worked out for you.
I will close this topic and mark the correct answer.
My Best Regards,
Gustavo BordoniKeymasterHi Drew,
Thanks for reaching out to us, and let me see if I can help you on your issue.
So you sounded like you are familiar with coding, so if you apply the following patch to your plugin you should be able to fix your issue.
https://gist.github.com/bordoni/fe281fc27597a53360ed
If you are having problems for either applying this patch or the issue is still happening, please reply to us and I will try to resolve it.
I’m Reporting this as a bug, and it might get fixed for everyone in one of the next few releases.

I found that in our codebase and removed it, this will be out on our next release, thanks for reporting this to us! You can apply the following change to the file mentioned above in your error message.
- From: get_the_permalink
- To: get_permalink
And your problem should be fixed with that, if not please reply here and I will try to help you further.
My Best Regards,
Gustavo BordoniKeymasterHi Kevin.
Can you provide us what is the content of your current page.php and single.php, so that I can provide you a snippet with a possible solution to your problem.
Could you use the Gist from GitHub to share those files, and post a link here? Thanks a lot!
My Best Regards,
Gustavo BordoniKeymasterHi Kathleen,
Thanks for reaching out to us, let’s see it I can help you with this task.
So, just to clarify, you want to show a button that points to a page when you are viewing a already past event and another one when viewing a future event. Correct?
With that information I might be able to create a snippet to solve your issue.
My best Regards,
Gustavo BordoniKeymasterHi Patrick,
I’m very glad to hear that you came to us with this problem.
To confirm what is really happening I would like you to point me to which Stripe Plugin for WooCommerce you are using as well as the PayPal one.
My Best regards,
Gustavo BordoniKeymasterHi Tom,
Since you can use WooCommerce and it allows variable products you can setup the ticket then change it to be a variable WooCommerce Product which should allow the behavior your are expecting.
If I miss understood you or have any other questions, just reply and I will try to help you out.
My Best Regards,
