    Hi Brandon,

    Thanks for your follow-up.

Timezones can be tricky, but there are few things I would recommend doing:

    1. First, make sure the timezone of your WordPress site and your Google Calendar are the same. To adjust your site’s timezone, head to Settings → General in your site’s wp-admin. You should be able to specify a timezone there.

    2. If simply adjusting the timezone doesn’t help anything, I would recommend trying different options for how events, specifically, handle their timezones. To do this, head to Events → Settings in your wp-admin, and then try changing the setting from “Use sitewide timezone” to “Use event timezones”, or vice versa. Do some test imports with either options — do you get any different results based on what option is set here?

If that doesn’t help, or more assistance is needed, then unfortunately a closer support look may be required than what these free “Pre-Sales Questions” forums can accommodate.

Let me know if the above two suggestions help at all.

    Sincerely,
    George

    Hey Steven,

    Thanks for reaching out.

My apologies for this — that article was supposed to be a “Draft”, and not accessible by the public — that extension doesn’t yet exist.

I have fixed the access status of that article and am sorry for the trouble here!

    Sincerely,
    George

    Hey John,

Thanks for reaching out. This is unfortunately not something dictated by our products, but by WordPress itself, so to modify this you’d have to modify your WordPress installation.

One thing you can do, for example, is increase the time window used for that auto-emptying of the trash. Here is an article online I found about how to do that → https://wpartisan.me/tutorials/wordpress-empty-trash-time

For more on modifying the WordPress “Trash” behavior, I’d recommend searching online for more articles like the one above. Please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with!

    Sincerely,
    George

    Hey Joseph!

    Thanks for reaching out.

The response to both questions here is the same:

    • There are no “hard limits” in place, i.e. there is not anything in place like, “A Personal License means you can import only 1,000 Facebook Events”, or “an Events Calendar Pro calendar only allows for 5 events per day”. There are no such limits.

    • So you can basically in theory have as many events as you’d like — you can create as many on your site directly, you can import as many as you’d like, and so on. There are no limits.

However, your site’s server and database can be slowed down if you have many, many events. So if you have 1,000 events per month, for example, then based on your web host and the quality of your website’s infrastructure, the page could crash. It truly mostly comes down to your site’s infrastructure and what it can handle, and what caching you have in place.

Let me know if this information helps, and if there are any questions I can try to help with!

    Sincerely,
    George

    Hi Jeremy,

    Thanks for reaching out.

We are unfortunately not able to help with custom coding. 🙁 Please read this page to learn more about this → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/

With that being said, I would recommend that you do the following:
    • Copy the complete, un-edited custom files you are referring to into separate Gists at http://gist.github.com
    • Share links to those Gists here in your replies.

While we cannot help with custom coding, and unfortunately will likely not be able to identify the specific reason the code isn’t working, I am happy to at least try and take a look to see if there’s anything obvious I can recommend that might help.

In the meantime, if you need custom development on your site, you would have to write new custom code or hire a professional developer to do it for you. We have a list of great developers here → http://m.tri.be/18k1 (and have no affiliation with any of these folks—they’re simply some well-respected names in the community that we’ve compiled to share in situations like this one).

Let me know if you can provide a link to those Gists as described above; I’ll take a look and see what I can recommend!

    Thanks,
    George

    Hello!

We unfortunately are not able to help with layouts and design tweaks, as noted in our support policy here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/

If you can provide a link directly to the place on your site where there is an example of this, we will happily at least try to take a look and see if there is anything we can suggest.

    Thanks!

    Hey Daniele,

    Thanks for reaching out!

You should indeed be able to do this by using a shortcode like the following:

    [tribe_events view="month" date="2016-08"]

To learn more about this, check out the guide to the tribe_events shortcode here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/

    Hello!

With Events Calendar Pro, you have access to new widgets and also to the [tribe_events] shortcode — both things can indeed be used to place a mini calendar and/or a mini list view anywhere you’d like! 😀

You can learn more about both things here:
    • Widgets → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/
    • [tribe_events] Shortcode → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/

⚠️ Please Note: Our plugin generates the functional lists or mini calendars of events. If there is a specific look you are trying to achieve with either thing, however, then this is not something totally dictated by our plugins. This is mostly dictated by your theme, and so if you want to get the mini calendars or lists to look a certain way, then your best bet is to work with the theme styles or write custom CSS yourself to make them look exactly how you’d like.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out. These forums here are our “Pre-sales Questions” forums, so we unfortunately cannot field technical support questions here.

It doesn’t currently appear that you have a premium license with us. If this is wrong, and you do have a premium license with us, then apologies for my misunderstanding!

However, in that case please log into the account on this site that has your premium license, and then post this question in a premium support forum.

If you indeed do not have a premium license, then please post your question in our free support forums here → http://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar

We check those forums a bit more than once per week, so hopefully we will be able to get to your question there.

    Thank you,
    George
